Page: 1 Tour : Umbria, Tuscany & Le Marche Educational Trip for Travel Professionals October 1-8, 2019 Day 1 Meet in Rome at the Ludovisi Palace Hotel at 9 AM for Orvieto, lunch at Palazzone - Civitella del Lago & Lake Corbara - Check in to Famiglia Buccelletti Estate in Castiglion Fiorentino - Tuscany Meals: B L D Meeting Location Orvieto,Umbria,Italy Civitella del Lago,Umbria,Italy Ludovisi Palace Hotel in Rome This morning we meet with you in Rome City Centre at the Ludovisi Palace Hotel by 9 AM and have a breakfast pleasantly served on the house. We will leave from the hotel approximately at 10 AM to drive north through Umbria reaching Ovieto known for some of the finest white wines and one of the greatest cathedrals in the area. As we arrive in Orvieto approximately at 12 PM, our official licensed guide will give you an accurate explanation of the most famous and outstanding costruction "The Dome of Orvieto" - The Cathedral. Lunch will consist of local products well paired with the local wines in a gorgeous setting at the "Palazzone" which is right outside the town of Orvieto.
Page: 2 Following lunch we will make a stop in Civitella del lago a delightful hill-zone overlooking the valley and the lake Corbara situated in the centre of an expansive and beautiful valley dotted by vineyards and olive grove. After this beautiful panorama view seen in the middle of the nature we will be ready to head to the Buccelletti Estate which is a wonderful property we work with. You will be there to check in and have an orientation meeting followed by a special medieval welcome dinner. Begin with a deep meditation, followed by a tour of the property, and finally a culinary experience. At 9:00 AM, join Lidia in the garden for peaceful bioenergy exercises. Then Renee, the son's American wife, will lead you on a site inspection of this magnificent estate. For the cooking class, the group will split into 2 sections to provide you y. After alternating the pasta (ravioli) cooking class with the important site inspection to learn all about the Buccelletti Estate you will go for a light lunch using those fresh vegetables for toppings grown in their own garden and eating the ravioli Pasta with the red sause all together. During your lunch Giò Patti the Italian singer will entertain you with some of his original music and international covers. In the evening around 6 PM we will take you seeing the historical town of Castiglion Fiorentino with our official local guide to learn and promote this beautiful area of Tuscany. This evening you would like to give you sometime for you to spend in town and have a dinner on your own so we will arrange you the transfer back to the Estate with 1 pick up for everybody at 9:30 PM approximately. Today you will visit the Saint Francis and Saint Mary of the Angels Churches to admire the enormous religious treasure well preserved and protected here by the local people. Then after seen the marvellous area of Assisi we will move into Gubbio which is another extraordinary and interesting City to visit and discover. Here you will have a chance to eat some local food on your own and learn about the town with our official guide. Afterwords we will head back to the Buccelletti Estate for a little bit of rest and then grape stomping party time at the Locanda del Molino with dinner. Here you will be taken through an intensive 1 hour tour with our official guide to learn about the history &
Page: 4 the population who had lived here and then go to the Estate "Il Falconiere" to enjoy a wine tasting with some appertizers and appreciate their true Tuscan hospitality as much as the wonderful property. After the Relais Il Falconiere we will move in to the Pianporcino farm house which is located near Pienza where you will have a chance to taste some of their local and delicious cheese and other products and taste some popular Brunello in Montalcino where the wine comes from. In the afternoon we will visit the Velona Castle which is one of the property we work with and we will let you have a site inspection to realize how much potentially this structure is. Once you are back at the Buccelletti Estate in the late afternoon we suggest you a light dinner to cloncude the day in the most possible best way you would have expected. This light dinner needs to be reserved 1 day in advance and that will be paid separately on your own. On the way to the region of Le Marche we will make a stop in the beautiful town of Spello known as the city of flowers which has an incredible history, not to mention some of the finest olive-oil in the region. Here in Spello you can eat lunch at one of our recommended best restaurant (Lunch not included) and then move going to see Norcia, an incredible and amazing area known for its delicious meats and cheese; the valley nearby it is home to hundreds of wild horses who graze in the valley. It is truly a spectacular site to behold. Passing through the Sibillini Mountains, we will check in to hotel Villa Pigna wherein you will be staying for 3 nights. Overnight at hotel in Ascoli Piceno. Page: 5 Civitanova Marche Urbino,Marche,Italy Civitanova Marche,Marche,Italy Today is a day dedicated to experience the beauty of Le Marche region from the very north to the south and get to know some of the amazing towns to offer an experience of learning the history of those ancient towns as well as the famous clothing stores of the Italian fashion designers. We will leave from the hotel in Ascoli Piceno at 9.30 AM to go to Urbino which is a marvellous City located at the very northern side of Le Marche region. From here you will spend the morning with an official local guide to learn about the deep knowladge of the area. During the tour you will have a chance to eat some food on your own and then on the way back to the hotel do some shopping at the well-known outlet mall located in the City of Civitanova Marche which the name derives from the region. Return to Ascoli Piceno for some rest to take it absolutely. Overnight at hotel in Ascoli Piceno. Day 7 Ascoli Piceno tour beginning at 9 AM with lunch at the waterfalls seeing Grottammare & Farewell dinner in Offida Meals: B L D Location 3: Roccafluvione,Marche,Italy Grottammare,Marche,Italy Offida,Marche,Italy This morning after eating the delicious local pastries "gnammy", you will begin 2 hour tour with our official local guide in Ascoli Piceno to be stunned by the history and the population which is unexpectedly much older than the Romans. Today get ready to admire one of the most incredible waterfalls in the region of Le Marche at the Arcera Agriturismo located in the town of Roccafluvione (Località Forcella) wherein this wonderful place is well-cared by Ombretta, the owner of the property. Let's enjoy its best splendour today and eat lunch here. On the way back to the hotel we will see Grottammare, which is a gorgeous sea-side town set high up on the hills offering spectacular views of the east coast of Italy along the adriatic sea. This evening we will be heading to Offida downtown for a farewell dinner to be served obviously on the house, and drinking many varieties of wines at the Cantina Ciù Ciù restaurant, one of the most well-known winery-restaurants in the region of Le Marche. This has to be in order of making a memorable toast to this wonderful first part of the trip designed appositaly for travel professionals and hopefully created to promote this regional areas to the United States of America in the way of letting people know how beautiful this area is.
