CHILDREN, SEA AND BLUE FLAG DAY Wednesday 2 nd July is the Children, sea and Blue Flag day! games and entertainments all day long; starting at 3.00 pm with the 115 Junior, games path together with the firemen of Venice; from 6.30 pm at the Shopping Center, seashells exposition in collaboration with the Venice Art shop and Stella Diving Center and the Sea Life stand of Jesolo! After that, games and entertainment organized by our Animation Team and then, at 7.00 pm starts the Pizza Pasta Party in Piazza Lido. The organisation involves the Union Lido Restaurants and shops, with different kind of pizza and pasta, snacks, soft drinks and wine. The money raised will be given to the association La città della Speranza. At the end of the day, at 9.00 pm dance show of the Avalon Dance Company. VENICE and MURANO BURANO All day excursion At 9.00 am departure by boat from the dock Turistica Penzo, close to the bridge on the Pordelio canal to reach the islands. Burano It is famous for its laces as well as for its brightly coloured fishermen s houses. During the rest you will have the chance to observe the lacemaking. Murano In the island, famous for its glassmakers, you will have the possibility to see the work of master glass blowers in one of the oldest factories. After visiting the islands of Murano and Burano, the boat will reach Venice. In Veneice you will have free time to walk (about 2 hours without guide). At about 6.00 pm arrival at the Turistica Penzo.
