Atlantic Rangers SCUBA Club Western Caribbean Dive Cruise Cruise information I. Ship, dates, itinerary a. Our group will travel on the 7-Day Western Caribbean Cruise from Miami aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Norwegian Escape. The cruising dates are Nov. 30-Dec. 7, 2019. We have reserved a block of cabins at a discounted rate with onboard credits and perks (see below). b. II. III. IV. Diving a. Scuba diving excursions are optional and will be offered at an additional cost. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) presently has not published any excursions of any type for this cruise. We are negotiating with NCL s Destination Services Group to provide private diving excursions for our group. The diving excursions will be arranged after the total number of divers is determined. b. NCL has posted the following information regarding scuba diving excursions: Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age, weigh no more than 275 lbs., be in good health and present a certification card. Completion of a waiver is required. Due to restrictions by the Dive Provider, any SCUBA participants currently taking any medication or with a previous medical condition should bring a note from their primary physician stating that they are medically cleared to participate on a SCUBA excursion. Children 10-11 years of age will require a private dive master at an additional fee. Dive Certification Card and proof of diving at least once within the past 12 months is required. c. We are planning to provide dives in all ports of call except Harvest Caye (Belize) and Miami. d. If you choose not to provide your own gear, diving equipment will be available at an additional cost. Document requirements a. All travelers are required to have passports. Make sure that your passport has an expiration date of at least 6 mos. from travel date and at least two blank pages. b. All divers will be required to provide evidence of scuba certification and diver s insurance. c. We suggest that all travelers obtain travel insurance. Registration form, fees and payments a. Please identify your cabinmate(s) before completing the registration form. We will not be responsible for providing cabinmates. Studio cabins that accommodate one traveler are available. b. Completed registration forms must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of $100 per cabin (not per person). c. h. Additional payments are made directly to NCL and are fully refundable until Aug. 2, 2019 (120 days before sailing). Our representative is Giovanni Sierra (945) 514-4360. Final payment is due by Aug. 2, 2019. V. Onboard credits and perks a. Each cabin can select 2 additional perks (both cabin passengers must choose the same 2 perks) i. Specialty dining (4 nights of dining in specialty restaurants) ii. Excursion credit ($25 per person per port credit on cruise excursions) iii. 250 Internet minutes iv. Beverage package (passenger must pay $124.60 gratuities); the normal cost of the Beverage package for one week is $770 b. Each cabin will receive an on-board credit. The amount of the credit is dependent on the category of cabin reserved. i. $50 on-board credit for interior cabin ii. $60 on-board credit for window cabin iii. $100 on-board credit for balcony cabin iv. $140 on-board credit for mini suite VI. Cabins a. We have reserved a block of cabins of various categories and on various decks. Cabins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our prices are locked in. Once we receive your completed registration form and deposit, we will notify NCL. You will select your specific cabin after a discussion with our representative at NCL. b. Cabin categories and prices. These prices include taxes and fees. Prices are per cabin (not per person). c. Other cabin categories If you would prefer a cabin category that we have not reserved, you must still send us your registration form and deposit to obtain our on-board credit and perks. During your discussion with our NCL representative, you may select any cabin category that is available. However, you will have to pay NCL s price for that cabin category. 2
