Itinerary Day to Day Day 1: Bodrum (Embarkation) Individual flight to Bodrum airport and (if any) transfer to Bodrum (45 minutes). Check-in on board from 2 p.m. Use the afternoon to stroll through the bustling city with its famous bazaar and imposing fortress. In the early evening, we board the boat and cruise to Aquarium Bay, where we can refresh ourselves with a swim in the sea. Dinner on board and overnight on anchor Day 2: Bodrum Yalıҁiftlik 17 km After breakfast on board, our ship will take us back to Bodrum, where we can take part on a guided city tour by bike. The tour takes us not only to the imposing St. Peter's fortress, but also to the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, once one of the 7 wonders of the world. Afterwards, we set off for our first bike tour to Kızılağaç, known for its local bazaar. After a rest, the tour continues to Yalıҁiftlik, where we can visit the beautiful beach for a dip in the cool water or relax in a tea garden for the afternoon. Dinner on board and overnight in Yalıҁiftlik. Day 3: Yalıҁiftlik - Mazı Akbük 41 km From Yalıҁiftlik, our bike tour takes us through the scenic natural landscapes of the hinterland and finally back to the coast to Mazı. Here, our ship awaits us for lunch and we can relax on board during the two and a half hours crossing to Akbük, a charming little harbor where we can enjoy the afternoon swimming. Dinner on board and overnight in Akbük. Day 4: Akbük Akyaka 31 km A morning shuttle service will take us from Akbük to the charming mountain village of Sarnıçköy. The bike tour leads us from here to the neighboring village of Akyaka, where we can stop to admire the ancient rock tombs. This picturesque village is characterized by a pseudo-seljuk-ottoman architecture with significant wooden elements, unique to Turkey. This unique piece was designed by award-winning architect Nail Cakirhan. A small stroll through the village is well worth while. Dinner on board and overnight in Akyaka.
Day 5: Akyaka Ҁamlı 34 km A round trip by bike around Akyaka, will take us inland away from the coast. Enjoy the abundance of nature and solitude of this landscape before returning to Akyaka for lunch. Afterwards, we head to the picturesque Ҁamlı bay, where we can take a refreshing swim. Dinner on board and overnight in Çamli. Day 6: Ҁamlı English Bay - Yedi adalar 20 km From Ҁamlı, today's bike tour takes us through small villages and fragrant pine forests to the picturesque English Bay. In this beautiful bay we can swim to our heart's content. The following passage by boat to Yedi Adalar (Seven Islands) offers us one and a half hours to relax and enjoy the sun and the salty sea air on our skin. Dinner on board and overnight at anchor. Day 7: Yedi Adalar Körmen Knidos 42 km The morning crossing takes us to Körmen on the Datça Peninsula, which we are able to discover by bike. A first ascent leads us to a height of 450 meters, before enjoying the descent back to the sea with a beautiful view over the Greek islands Nissyros, Tilos and Rhodes. The path ahead leads us along a scenic road along the coast before entering the suburban outskirts of Knidos. After visiting the impressive archaeological site, we spend the night in one of the most picturesque bays on the Turkish coast. Day 8: Knidos - Bodrum (Disembarkation) After breakfast on board, enjoy the sea air during the last crossing to Bodrum. Arriving in Bodrum, it is time to say goodbye to your ship, the crew and your tour guides. Check-out and (if any) transfer to the airport and individual travel back home or extension of your holiday in Turkey.
Route Technical Characteristics: Route Profile: Moderate. The day tours average of 16-40 km and take you through mainly hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time constraints. There are also some extended climbs where walking your bicycle is of course permitted. Most of the roads are asphalted and rarely frequented. Your tour guide informs you each day about the tour details. Helmet use is mandatory on all cycle tours. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own (well-fitted) helmet. Cycle helmets are available on board in limited number (on request). You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned cycle tour.
