At Petak Sembilan we will visit Kedai Kopi Es Tak Kie and try the famous ice coffee from this store. They only have 2 choice of coffee, black coffee and coffee mix, with ice or Hot. Tak Kie is a place where a lot of bitter memories. Established since 1927 in the area of Petak Sembilan, they have many loyal customers from many places in Jakarta. After coffee time at Tak kie we will visit Asemka Market and explore the market, In Asemka you can buy something as a souvenir and try to bargain to get a good price from the seller. Finish in Fatahilah Square and visit the Museum. Continue to Sunda Kelapa Harbor. Tangkuban Perahu, or Tangkuban Parahu in local Sundanese dialect, is an active volcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung, the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs upclose, and buy eggs cooked on its hot surface. This stratovolcano is on the island of Java and last erupted in 1983. Next destination is Ciater Highland. Ciater highland is located at the north side of mount Tangkuban Perahu, West Java. Here, visitor will find a large spread of tea plantation. Walking around the plantation trees and sightseeing, you can visit the tea factory (Tea Factory closed on Sunday, Monday and Holiday) managed by a state-owned company named Perkebunan Nusantara VIII. There, accompanied by a tour guide, visitors can see the production process of tea; from fresh tea leaves until the packaging. As tea lovers, visitors might want to ask hundreds of questions. Arrival Kutoarjo, transfer directly to Manohara for Sunset tour of Borobudur. This tour can provide a different experience for those with longer visit at the Temple. Day 5: Magelang Jogjakarta Solo (B) Breakfast and Check out from hotel, 1 Hour drive to Jogjakarta for Visit the palace of Sultan (King of Jogjakarta). In this place, tourists can also see and learn about Java culture won t be forgotten easily. Next goes to Kota Gede and try the Becak experience. Becak a paddy-cab is one of popular traditional transportation in Yogyakarta, it can carried 1 to 2 passengers. Driving through the narrow alley of Kotagede the old city of Yogyakarta believed as the glorious root of Mataram kingdom. Featuring the houses with many different architectural styles, on the West of the city we can see Kalang Palace the large and beautiful former home of Kalang nobles, a family of silver-smith who made jewels for the king, today it became a place where people buy and sell silver jewellery. Kotagede has hundred of silver shop along the streets as the silver craft tradition existed for centuries. Find the heritage building of Mataram which was built with red bricks and looks strong and peaceful. Inside of the complex stands the first mosque in Kotagede called Besar mosque. Along the way you will see old façade with old building of 1930 and deep inside of the kampong you will see some pendopo a traditional javanese building made of big old teakwood built in 1700. After excursion, visit the magnificent 9 th century Hindu Temple of Prambanan. Believed to have been built during the Syailendra and Sanjaya Dynasty in the 700s AD, the Hindu Roro Jongrang (the slender virgin) temple complex in the Prambanan area is a contrast to Buddhist Borobudur temple although similarities abound. First we will go to Brojobuwono Keris factory to see the craftsman making Keris (Traditional weapon from Java). The keris-making process, from its blade up to its ornaments, is a long and complicated process. It took about six months to complete. The collectors of keris did not come from Indonesia only, but also from foreign countries such as Japan and USA. A keris from Padepokan Brojobuwono is priced between Rp 100 million up to Rp 1 billion. Afterward goes to Sangiran Museum, in this museum there are 13,086 ancient human fossil collections and is the site of early humans stood upright most comprehensive in Asia. It can also be found vertebrate fossils, animal fossils water, rocks, fossils of marine plants and equipment-alatfosil-sangiranstone. Afterward back to hotel. Being the oldest hotel in Indonesia, the hotel building appears as a beautiful East Javanese mansion from the Dutch colonial times, with giant white-washed pillars, furniture from the late 19th century and the early 20th century, nostalgic photographs and elegant Chandeliers. The building was carefully renovated to its every detail in the beginning of this century, to preserve its artistic, charismatic, and historical characters but blending them with modern luxuries. In Late afternoon, transfer to Penataran Temple and then enjoy The Lost Temple Private Dinner. The Hindu temples at Penataran are the largest intact Majapahit temples, and the finest examples of East Javanese architecture and sculpture. These temples are inherited from the Majapahit kingdom s golden period, during the governance of King Hayam Wuruk, and are located on the lower slopes of Mount Kelud, around twenty kilometers north of Blitar. Enjoy the sunset from the blue sky turned partially pink coming in to dusk. As the night started to roll in, Candi Panataran was slowly lit with torches. A wooden picnic table was set on one side of the park, complete with well thought-out placemats, cutlery, and candles. A few wooden Javanese statues decorated the dining area. In one corner, a flute player serenaded a Javanese tune. Enjoy your special dinner and then back to hotel for your accommodation. Day 8: Blitar Bromo (B) Breakfast at hotel and then Check out from hotel and drive to Bromo via Malang. Before go to Malang we will visit to The Tomb of Soekarno. Soekarno, affectionately referred to as Bung Karno, was given a state funeral. His family requested that he be buried at his home in Bogor. In fact the hero of Indonesian independence was buried as far as possible from Jakarta in an unmarked grave next to his mother in Blitar. His father s grave was also moved from Jakarta to Blitar. It was only in 1978 that the lavish million-dollar monument was built over the grave and was opened to visitors. Afterward 2.5 hours drives to Malang and short city tour around Malang, Malang city has its Interesting Places that can attract the visitor to visit this city. This cool and fresh city also has been equipped with such kind of tourism. You can visit its interesting tourism objects including; City Hall, Bird & Flower Market, and City Square. After city tour, direct transfer to hotel in Bromo. NOTED: We suggest them to dinner at hotel (Jiwa Jawa Bromo) Day 9: Bromo Ijen (B) After Breakfast the tour continue to *exploring Mount Bromo, continue your journey from the rim of the old crater down into the stunning caldera, crossing the sulfur rich sand-sea to the smoking crater of Bromo. After the excursion, Transfer to Banyuwangi and continued to proceed to the hotel, lunch en-route. OPTIONAL DETAIL: Baluran Tour 07.00 am - Pick up the clients from the hotel. 08.00 am - Come into The Baluran National Park, pass through teak jungle and savannah via macadam road. We could enjoy many jungle attractions of wild animals there with very beautiful scene, from one spot on the small hill. 09.00 am - Visit to Baluran Beach, enjoy natural scenery and blue sea water, with transparent sand along the shore. Many activities could be enjoyed here, such us swimming, bird watching, or just relaxing on the sand. 10.30 am - Get back to the hotel. Ijen Tour 04.00 am - Early wake up, have your breakfast at the hotel. 05.00 am - Pick up at the hotel, start for tour by driving with our jeep to get the last parking on Ijen mountain for about 1,5 hours. On the way we could enjoy beautiful scenery of rice terracing field with its traditional manner of plaughing the soil with buffalos. Afterward drive to the middle of the rainforest. The Ijen Reserve protects the forest up to 2.400 hectare nature reserve. The Humidity, wildlife, giants farms and big trees viewing the way up to the Park ranger Post (1.850 m above sea level). Coming into the natural jungle with its habitats, many kinds of birds, monkey, etc. 06.30 am - Stop at Paltuding -the last parking of Ijen- and from Paltuding begin the trekking by foot to the crater (approx. 3 km in 1,5 hours). The trek also use by the sulfur miners carrying the sulfur from the rim of crater. On the top (2.350 above sea level) visitor can enjoy the magnificent panorama from the lake and yellow sulfur deposits close the lake. The Sulfur miners emerge carrying up to 80 kg with the bamboo basket on their shoulders. 08.00 am - Arrive on the summit of mount Ijen, from this spot, we could enjoy very-very beautiful scenery of Ijen Crater with its eeries blue and green water lake inside. To enjoy the view may take times. We could enjoy the attraction of some porters whom picking the sulfure up on their shoulders. They are able to pick up the sulfure more than 80 kg. 08.30 am - Afterward walk down to Paltuding and drive back to hotel. 09.30 am - Get the jeep and back to the hotel via the same way as before. On the way back home, we can stop in some spots of the plantation for getting more information about the plants. And stop for looking the processing of sulfur on the factory. Arrive at the hotel at noon. 11.00 am - Finish at the hotel.
