Living the life The third Feadship in the successful F45 Vantage range offers spectacular confirmation of the qualities of a customseries approach in this size bracket. TV s hull, superstructure, bulkheads and exterior style were set by Feadship in advance, with the equipment portfolio also being pre-selected. A contemporary profile is combined with the unmistakable timeless lines and well-defined curves of a Feadship. With the key technical parameters settled, TV s owners chose for a Milano interior, a classic modern style that combines exquisite architectural shapes with restrained colours in natural materials. Personal touches to the project included a distinctive blue hull, extra children s accommodation and a wealth of sports equipment. The F45 offers the maximum space possible in 45 metres thanks to the centralised air conditioning system that dispenses with the need for separate fan coil units in each room. This facilitates the giant windows found across the main deck, maximising the sense of space on what is already a significantly voluminous yacht. The general layout philosophy reflects the way modern owners cruise onboard super yachts, with an emphasis on a beach house on the water lifestyle. With the vast majority of meals being eaten outside, the accent is on al fresco living with no formal dining room and the galley relocated to the lower deck. 2
Main deck 11 Free view A plethora of options for entertainment, dining and accommodation are found throughout TV, with each space and environment being equally suitable for times of privacy and group gatherings. The open plan main deck lounge [11] offers great views even when seated on the large sofa or at the casual dining table. Drinks and food can be served from the pantry forward of the lounge, and this entire area exudes a feeling of at-sea freedom. 11
Main deck 23 Light and day The superlative full beam owner s stateroom [23] has an open-plan arrangement, fabulous full-length windows, and a 3.20-metre high ceiling. The enticing sensation of space is enhanced by an enormous glass skylight, which bathes the suite with natural light during the day and stunning scenes of the stars at night. A special window treatment ensures privacy when crew members walk across the foredeck. 23
Main deck 24 Mirror, mirror... The owner s bathroom [24] and bedroom [23] are in a semi-open plan format, separated into two distinctive areas by a partition screen and upholstered headboard. The latter features can be electrically lowered to create a single open space and an even more roomy accommodation. In addition to the luxurious bathing options, there are large his and her wardrobes, a twin-sink vanity, and a large marble-clad shower.
Main deck 20 16 Sleeping on the main deck All four guest staterooms [16, 18, 20, 22] on TV are located in a wonderful location on the main deck. This ensures everyone shares in the owners panoramic views through the yacht s giant windows, including even from the ensuite bathrooms [15, 17, 19, 21], and is an exceptional asset should the owners choose to charter. With the ability to rearrange the beds into either one queen or two twins, TV adapts to her guests rather than the other way round. 19
BRIDGE deck 8 Rising high Another reason for the success of the F45 concept is the flexible way in which spaces are used both inside and out. One of the best examples of this is the multi-functional room behind the wheelhouse on the bridge deck, which is connected to the main deck by an elegant staircase [14]. Equally ideal for a captain s cabin or refined study, TV s owners opted to create this splendid VIP stateroom. 14
BRIDGE deck 4 Truly versatile The epitome of this versatile approach is found in the bridge deck lounge, where an inventive system of sliding doors and windows open up onto the aft deck to create a magnificent outdoors-in set-up. Glass partitions to port and starboard can open 80 percent of the floor-to-ceiling height up to the open air. At the same time, however, when all the windows and doors are closed and the curtains drawn, the lounge [4] is a cosy spot for kicking back to watch a good movie.
sun deck Outdoor pleasures As befits a floating holiday home, TV features a multitude of al fresco leisure options. A lovely secluded private platform (see overleaf) extends the yacht s length by almost four metres, the perfect base for swimming, diving and jet-skiing. The sun deck [1] continues the beach house ambience. Sunbathing, relaxing and shaded dining are all catered for in a generous and flexible layout, with the only fixed feature being a giant Jacuzzi [2] enveloped by sun pads. 2 1
