The Faust House & The Cottage The Faust House is the flagship of the 4.866 acre homestead. Built in the early 1900's, it was originally located in the downtown area of New Braunfels. Today it sits fully restored on the Gruene Homestead Inn property on Gruene Road and Hanz Drive. It serves multiple functions but is primarily known as the office and restaurant, although it does contain one guest unit. It was constructed in the 1890's as part of Comal Town on the Comal River. The house was moved from its original location on Union Street in 1995. It was offered to the owners by the McKenna Hospital administration which needed to clear the area for building expansion and parking. The Country House The Country House hosts The Gruene Room (#12 on the map), Granny s Attic (#13 on the map), The Country Suite (#14 on the map), and The Back Porch (#15 on the map). The living square footage does not reflect the upstairs improvements and suite. The estimated living square footage is over 1,700 square feet. The Country House is an example of the classic form of Greek Revival style popular in the early 1900's. The addition of dormers and wrap-around porches brought harmony, dignity, and elegance to the simple farmhouse. Originally part of the Landa Ranch and known by local folks as the Brodt House, the Country House joined the other homes in 1995. After extensive renovation, this house now offers four unique guest suites - one of which meets ADA requirements. - The Gruene Room - $150/day weekdays and $180/day weekends and is equipped with a king bed, and walk-in shower.

The Rose Cottage Rose Cottage hosts The Lady Banks Suite (#22 on map), and The Belinda Suite (#23 on the map). The Rose Cottage is similar to The Texas House in history and style as both were constructed in the 1890's as part of Comal Town on the Comal River. The Ranch House was originally a private residence built on the back side of the property in the mid 1990's. It is a one bedroom house that is fully equipped to accommodate a maximum of 5 people. When planning a group event, this is the perfect starting point. The living room in this house is quite large and is appropriate for informal meetings of up to 12 people. - The Ranch House - $225/day on week days and $265/day on weekends. It has a king bed, day bed with trundle (two twins), twin roll-away, bathtub with stand up shower, living room, full kitchen, and private porches.

Tavern in the Gruene The Tavern in the Gruene is approximately 5,320 square feet of heated and cooled space. There are outside areas, some of which are covered or partially covered. There is a service area which serves the outside customers. There is an inground pool which is intended for patrons of Gruene Homestead Inn located just in front of the Tavern, and an outside stage for entertainment. The Tavern in the Gruene itself is constructed from a 1940 s-era pole barn that originally was used to house sheep and hogs and is situated less than a mile from the Gruene Historic District right next to Gruene Homestead Inn.
