We have an exciting summer planned for your camper! Our Program is action-packed with trips and activities. Campers will enjoy new experiences, develop new skills, and have fun along the way. Our camp provides an environment where campers are active, having fun, and learning. Flexible scheduling allows parents to sign-up their camper for any number of weeks or for the whole summer! Our Academic Program is designed to bridge the gap between the end of the school year, and the start of the next. We provide fun, engaging activities to prevent learning loss that can take place over the summer break. All summer learning activities are designed specifically with each grade level in mind. Our Program provides various learning activities and practice materials in math and literacy to keep skills sharp. We encourage learning through small groups which allows for individualized instruction. Sensational Science We will offer Campers an opportunity to learn about topics such as chemistry, weather, and space by participating in fun, hands-on activities, experiments, and crafts. The science program will be offered daily for one hour. This incredible class is included in our camp program. Campers Choice We will offer Campers an opportunity to choose from weekly activity options. Weekly activities will feature various fun activities such as scrapbooking, jewelry fun, photography, drawing, rocketry, fitness fun, and more! Water games are one of the best ways to keep kids excited, engaged, and cooled-off. They are also an excellent way to entertain campers while teaching them team-building skills. This summer we will offer our campers various water games such as wet sponge races, sponge relays, and water balloon tosses! Young Authors Campers will have an opportunity to practice their reading and writing skills while writing their own story to share. Studies have proven that the connection between reading and writing improves both skill sets. Efforts will be made over the summer to help campers sustain reading skills, practice reading, and read for enjoyment. Our bridging activities will also include vocabulary review, including the use of sight words. Structured vocabulary teaching will help improve reading comprehension. Green Thumb Club It s summer in the garden which means a return to digging in the dirt! Our Green Thumb Club will explore the tools needed to get our garden planted and producing fresh veggies. We ll dig, plant, and cook tasty treats from the vegetables grown in our summer garden!
