The Moore County Health Foundation The Moore County Health Foundation promotes the Moore County Hospital District by improving community health care through fundraising,education, and support. Since its creation in 1996, the MCHF has raised money for Moore County to: Construct an ambulance garage Purchase two new ambulances Assist dialysis patients with their needs Purchase a digital mammography system Upgrade a CT for low-dose radiation Renovate a local nursing home Provide scholarships for RN students Provide assistance for hurricane victims Provide dementia patients with music More Proceeds raised at this year s Sporting Clays Tournament will be used for the Foundation s operations, and to provide other donations and services as they are requested.
