Perth - Margaret River - Nullarbor Plain - Adelaide - Sydney Margaret River Indulgence Itinerary Perth - Margaret River - Nullarbor Plain - Adelaide - Sydney Alternative itineraries available: Sydney to Perth, Perth and Adelaide, Adelaide to Perth Day 1: (Tuesday) Perth Make your own way to your accommodation in Perth. Settle in and commence your discovery of this cosmopolitan city at your leisure. Day 2: (Wednesday) Margaret River Your Margaret River experience starts today when you are collected from your accommodation. Make the scenic drive from Perth through the charming seaside towns of Mandurah where you will enjoy a coffee break by the foreshore, Bunbury where you will visit the Featured Wood Gallery and Museum, then on to Busselton for a delicious lunch. Stroll along the longest timber pile jetty in the southern hemisphere stretching 1.8 km out into picturesque Geographe Bay. On arrival in Margaret River, stop in at local artisan Vasse Virgin, formerly known as Natural Olive Oil Soap Factory. As the day winds down, head to the McLeod family farm to see mobs of Western Grey Kangaroos in their natural environment. Before settling in to your accommodation, take a drive to the coast for spectacular views of world class surf breaks. (B,L) 1 of 14

Day 3: (Thursday) Margaret River Amazing food, wine, culture and scenery await. Today is spent tasting wine, craft beer, coffee, cheese, olive oil and condiments, and everyone s favourite chocolate! Visit four exceptional Margaret River wineries including an exclusive tasting straight from the barrel. Stop at Yahava Koffee Works and indulge in delicious tastings while learning how to make the perfect cup of coffee. Lunch is at the award winning Cowaramup Brewery, while the afternoon is full of tastings at Olio Bello or Pukara Estate with their award winning extra virgin olive oil, the Margaret River Cheese Company, and the Margaret River Chocolate Company. (B,L) Day 4: (Friday) Margaret River This morning head to Redgate Beach where you will hear stories of shipwrecks and other tales of the region. Go underground at Mammoth Cave, take a scenic drive through 2 of 14

the majestic Boranup Forest, then seaward to Hamelin Bay s spectacular beaches of fine white sand, clear blue water and friendly stingrays swimming in the shallows. Pass through Augusta before arriving at the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, where you will take a tour and spot the point where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. Stop for lunch in Augusta followed by some free time in Margaret River township before travelling back to Perth and your accommodation. (B,L) Day 5: (Saturday) Perth Today is yours to explore the city of Perth at your leisure. Take a stroll to the new Elizabeth Quay, visit Rottnest Island with Rottnest Express or simply relax in the comfort of your accommodation. (B) Day 6: (Sunday) Indian Pacific, Perth This morning you will be transferred to East Perth Rail Terminal to join the Indian Pacific. A leisurely mid-morning departure from Perth is soon followed by a regionally inspired lunch with views of the beautiful patchwork hills of the Avon Valley. The afternoon is yours to familiarise yourself with the Indian Pacific. Delight in the comforts of the lounge, the social hub of the train. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink and socialising with fellow guests in anticipation of your late-night arrival into the landmark township of Kalgoorlie, where you can experience an Off Train Excursion. Relax in the comfort of your cabin and drift off to sleep. (B,L,D) Day 7: (Monday) Indian Pacific, Nullarbor Plain Arrive refreshed and eager for a superb sunrise on the Nullarbor. Back on the train, enjoy regionally inspired modern Australian cuisine and fine wines for lunch. Experience the extraordinary and ever so slightly eerie ghost town of Cook, home to a very small population of just four. Watch the passing parade of ever-changing landscape over dinner and share stories with old friends and new in the lounge. (B,L,D) Day 8: (Tuesday) Indian Pacific, Adelaide The beautiful but unforgiving scenery is now replaced with softer and more graceful contours as you make your way to Adelaide for a morning arrival. Here you will enjoy an Off Train Excursion. Take a behind the scenes tour of Adelaide Oval or see the highlights of the city on foot or by coach. Reboard the Indian Pacific to take in the striking, ever-changing landscape of South Australia as you head east towards Sydney. Over lunch, watch as pastures dissolve into tough Mallee scrub on approach to Broken Hill. Here you will have the opportunity to participate in an Off Train Excursion before re-joining the train for dinner. (B,L,D) Day 9: (Wednesday) Indian Pacific, Sydney Wake this morning in readiness to wind your way through the magnificent Blue Mountains where you will disembark the train to take in the beauty of this World Heritage listed landscape via the scenic walkways and cable car. See the majestic Three Sisters at Echo Point and the views at Jamieson Valley before continuing your journey into Sydney Central Station. (B) Inclusions 3 of 14
