WHEREAStruckdeliverieswillnotstoponLakeStreet.Truckswillenterthedriveway fromthewestlakestreetcurbcutandreturnusingathree@pointturningarealocated intheinteriorofthesite. WHEREAStheDeveloperwillperiodicallymeetwithappointedrepresentativesofthe LoopduringconstructiontoprovideinformationabouttheProjectincludingameeting towardtheendofdesigndevelopment,andconstructiondocumentphases.thecidna CommitteealsowillbeinformedperiodicallyasappropriateaboutmajorProject developments. 13. WHEREAStheDeveloperwilluseitsbesteffortstominimizetheimpactofProject constructiononwestlakestreettraffic.atrafficplanwillbesharedwiththeloop andcidnacommittees,whichwillincludeaplanfordeliveryofmaterialstoandfrom thesiteoutsideofrushhour.constructionequipmentanddeliverytruckswillnotstop onwestlakestreetunlessabsolutelynecessary.notrafficlaneonwestlakestreet willbereservedforconstructionunlessabsolutelynecessaryforshortperiodsoftime. 14. WHEREAStheDeveloperwillpresentaregularlyupdatedconstructionscheduletothe LoopandCIDNACommittees. 15. WHEREASCIDNAisconcernedaboutsafetyandwalkabilityofpedestriancrossingson WestLakeStreetandExcelsiorBoulevard. 16. WHEREASCIDNAisconcernedabouttheveryhighleveloftrafficintheneighborhood, whichhassomeofthehighesttrafficcountsinthecityandthestate,resultinginmajor trafficcongestionatrushhour. 17. THEREFOREBEITRESOLVEDTHATCIDNAsupportsaneffortbytheCityof MinneapolisandHennepinCountytoexplorewaystorelievetrafficcongestion,traffic flow,andpedestriansafetyintheneighborhood.thiseffortwouldincludeexploring thepossibilityofalongerleftturnlaneintotheprojectsiteandtheadjacentloopfrom WestLakeStreetanddevelopmentofaestheticandinvitingtransitstopsinthevicinity. 18. BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDTHATCIDNAsupportsacommunityefforttoconsidera pedestrianpathonprivatepropertyadjacenttopropertyownedbythehennepin CountyRegionalRailroadAuthority(the HCRRA )betweendeanparkwayandthe CalhounVillagecrossing.Thiseffortwouldrequirecooperationbetweenownersof CalhounVillage,Loop,CalhounCityApartments,theHCRRA,theMinneapolisParkand RecreationBoardandtheCityofMinneapolis.CIDNAsupportsothersimilareffortsto improvepedestrianandbikesafetyintheneighborhood. 19.
