They are: Durable, Have excellent heat retention and diffusion properties, Non-stick Easy to clean The heat can be regulated by moving the coals to and from the pot. The pot heats up quickly and keeps dishes warm for a long period of time. The pot can also be put on hot coal. Falkirk The Falkirk name is one that has been trusted for over 60 years and is regarded as the best cast iron pot by many. The range includes only the bake pots. Best Duty Best Duty s range of cast iron pots is wide. It ranges from three-legged pots to superpotjies. The pots are divided into two categories, namely, traditional cast iron pots and enamel cast iron pots. Traditional Cast Iron Pots The traditional pots have a standard finish but are already oil cured. However, these pots have only been layered with oil on the outside to prevent rusting. The pots only required to be washed thoroughly, oiled and boiled.
