Revised January 9, 2019 Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority Proposed Bus Service Modifications for April 13, 2019

REVISED: 1/9/2019 MARTA proposed modifications for Routes 49, 50, 850 and 853 for April 2019 Service Modifications. Route 49: McDonough Boulevard: It is proposed that Route 49 be realigned to operate along Ted Turner Drive to Mitchell Street (inbound) and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (outbound). Service along Trinity Avenue and Forsyth Street will continue to be provided by Route 813. Route 50: Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway: It is proposed that all Route 50 trips serve the UPS Distribution Center on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Service to Atlanta Industrial Park is proposed to be served by modifications to Route 850. Route 850: Carroll Heights / Fairburn Heights It is proposed that Route 850 be modified to serve Atlanta Industrial Park. From Bolton Road, Route 850 is proposed to operate via Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Atlanta Industrial Parkway. Service to Collier Ridge will continue to be provided by Route 853. Route 853: Collier Heights It is proposed that Route 853 be modified to no longer serve Chappell Road south of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard. Instead, Hunter Hills is proposed to be served from Joseph E. Boone Boulevard by a branching loop via Holly Road, Ezra Church Drive, Chappell Road, Eason Road and Holly Road back to Joseph E. Boone Boulevard. In addition, Route 853 service through Collier Heights is proposed to be eliminated. Instead, Route 853 is proposed to continue on Hamilton E. Holmes Drive, Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Harwell Road to the current end of line loop at Collier Ridge. 1
