Hosted in Cannes, MIPIM is the premier event in the European real estate calendar and has become Europe s showcase for major cities, property developments, investment opportunities and networking. For three consecutive years, we have showcased our city at MIPIM to an international audience of commercial property investors, developers and occupiers. Belfast at MIPIM 2018 delivered: 80 Belfast delegates; 36 sponsors and supporting organisations; 35 events over three days; Over 75 pieces of national and international coverage. In March 2019, we will return to MIPIM for a fourth year. Our ambition is even greater, as we aim to build on the successes achieved so far.

Event Space Belfast Stand The Belfast stand at MIPIM is located on the Croisette, opposite Cannes Majestic Hotel and adjacent to the MIPIM entrance point at the Palais. Following positive feedback from the Belfast delegation, we have retained our existing space and stand, providing 50m 2 of covered exhibition and event space, plus an external beach-facing terraced area. Once again, the Belfast stand will feature a series of digital displays to bring the investment opportunity within the city to life. We will incorporate a presentation stage and flexible seating for use during presentations, as well as a space to showcase current and pipeline developments and schemes. Delegates can make use of the Belfast stand throughout the three days at MIPIM to host guests, avail of networking opportunities and develop relationships with colleagues within the Belfast delegation. In addition, there are numerous unofficial meeting points for off-site meetings, networking and respite within the immediate vicinity in Cannes. @BelfastMIPIM Ambitious Programming With the UK scheduled to leave the EU at the end of March 2019, MIPIM 2019 will be hugely important for Belfast and the Belfast delegation at MIPIM. Strong economic indicators coupled with initiatives including the Northern Ireland Investment Fund and the Belfast Region City Deal create attractive conditions for real estate and infrastructure investment. The city boasts a compelling investment proposition for investors seeking opportunities and this will only get stronger in the coming years. We also have a strong local delegation committed to increasing development and creating greater economic growth. Belfast City Council is committed to working in partnership with the private sector to take our city forward, ensuring it realises its full potential. At MIPIM 2019, we will deliver a busy programme of events on and off stand. We will seek to partner with as many leading organisations as possible to ensure our message is delivered to new audiences, as well as showcasing our city on the Belfast stand.
