About the Event The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) is the global work body that connects insights and network among public transport stakeholders. Our Metro Division organizes an annual Assembly for the discussion of latest development in metro railway sector, and our Asia-Pacific Division organizes the annual Assembly for the regional members, to exchange insights which are of importance to the development of sustainable mobility. In 2014, the 14 th UITP AP Assembly will be held in conjunction with the 91 st UITP Metro Assembly, in Hong Kong, China. The events are hosted by MTR Corporation, Hong Kong, China. To address the growing concern of sustainable mobility in Hong Kong, the 14 th UITP Asia-Pacific Assembly will discuss issues around the theme of Grow with Sustainable Mobility. The event targets to reach over 200 public transport experts and practitioners in the AP region and worldwide. Venue and Organizing Team A dedicated team under MTR is formed to lead the organization of the events, with the assistance of the UITP secretariat offices in Brussels and Hong Kong. The scientific programme will be decided by the Metro Committee and Asia-Pacific Executive Committee respectively. The venue of the event will be Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers.
