July 16 th 20 th Specialty Trip: Camp Woods Embark on some exciting adventures this week as we hike the trails in Canmore, visit Fish Creek Park, and canoe on the Glenmore Reservoir. Helping Hands! July 23 rd 27 th We love our community! Bring your helping hands to our annual food bank drive for the Calgary food bank. Let s explore our community helpers and heroes with visits from some special community helpers. What fun ideas can the kids come up with this week to be a HELPING HAND in the community? Let s wrap up the week with a trip to Calaway Park to celebrate our community helpers. Invention Convention July 30 th August 3 rd All your favourite summer fun activities from goopy goo, blowing things up, to your favourite games, crafts and water fun activities. We will also be traveling to the Calgary Zoo to visit the animals in their habitats. 1
Marine Oasis August 7 th 10 th Pack your swim suits campers! This week we will be travelling to Odgen Pool for a dip. Then it s off to Calaway Park for some water rides! We will end the week with some wacky water activities. Lazy Days! August 13 th 17 th Specialty Trip: Grassy Lakes Hike Oh the Lazy days of summer.. the kids will create their own board games, play wacky Monster mini golf, and then visit Riley park to swim, play games and have a picnic. Mission Impossible Week August 20 th 24 th Are you ready for impossible challenges? Mission Impossible, mazes, and team challenges! We will be finishing the week off with a trip to Calaway Park. Summer Celebration! August 27 th August 31 st We know the parents are excited..and you should be too! Let s wrap up the summer with a CARNIVAL full of challenges, water activities, games and prizes! In a few short days you ll be meeting new teachers and friends make beaded back pack tags, play at the water park and enjoy the last days of summer. EACH WEEK OF CAMP INCLUDES 2 3 FIELD TRIPS/WEEK! SUMMER REGISTRATION INFO 2018 Welcome to Juvenescence Summer Camp Thank you for choosing Juvenescence. We are proud to offer creative camps where children can explore their interests through play and recreation. Fully licensed and accredited, our Out of School Care Program strives to offer smaller group sizes and creative staff certified in Child Care, First Aid/CPR with completed Police Record Checks. Children are encouraged to share their ideas to add to the summer fun, meet new friends and explore all the fun Calgary has to offer. Join us for a summer full of sun, fun, friends and adventure. Summer Camp involves crafts, games, swimming/water play, and a variety of field trips. Each week will have an exciting theme to add variety to each week s activities. Children will also have opportunity to participate in sports, dance, science, cooking and photography. Important Camp Information Dear Parents and Campers this checklist was created just for you. Please use it to prepare for a Summer of Fun! WATER BOTTLE A NON WARM UP LUNCH (NO MICROWAVE AVAILABLE) WITH PLENTY OF HEALTHY, NUT FREE SNACKS TO PROVIDE ENERGY TO PLAY. BACK PACK APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR FOR RUNNING AND PLAYING. CROCS AND FLIP FLOPS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED FOR MOST ACTIVITIES. Payments: PAD/Post Dated Cheques dated for July 3 rd and August 1 st are required to register for camp. Specialty Trips can be paid by cash or on a separate cheque dated the day of the activity. Specialty Trips cannot be added to PAD payments. All NSF payments will be subject to a $50.00 fee.
