1.0.0 General Laudamotion Virtual is a virtual airline simulating the operations of the real life companies Laudamotion and Laudamotion Executive, as well as fictive operations of former companies Niki Luftfahrt and Lauda Air. Depending on the case of violation of the rule following punishments can be issued by Airline Executive: rejection of a flight suspension for an amount of days/weeks/month/years permanent suspension 2.0.0 Members All registered VA members can be found in the Pilots Roster on the website. All members have to follow the VA rules and regulations. 2.1.0 Join the VA Every person complying with the requirements (R 2.2.0) is allowed to register as a member of Laudamotion Virtual. The registration can be completed by filling out the online form on the website. Executive remains the right to reject Pilots without giving any reason. 2.2.0 Requirements to Join the VA Every person must comply with the following rules: You must be at least 14 years old You agree to complete at least 1 flight per month You own a legal copy of MS Flight simulator, Prepar3d, or X-Plane There is to be NO foul, vulgar, sexist, racist, or other foul remarks made by any of our members to anybody else, whether part of this virtual airline or not You must have a valid email address You must comply with all VATSIM/IVAO/other Network Regulations 2
2.2.1 Requirements to remain an active member To remain an active member of the VA you have to fulfill following requirements: make at least 1 flight per month When you don t fulfill the requirements your account will be set to inactive. You can reactivate your account by sending an E-Mail to office@laudamotion-virtual.com. If you know you will be unable to fly for more then one month you can also send an E-Mail to office@laudamotion-virtual.com in order to remain active. 2.3.0 Account deleting As your account will not be deleted due to inactivity, it can only be deleted upon request to the VA s Executive Department. 3.0.0 Operations As we are simulation real world Airline s operations we have some standards of operations. See R 3.3.0. 3.1.0 Flight booking Every active pilot can book a flight in our scheduling system. The flight will be reserved for 3 hours. If the pilot doesn t start the flight within 3 hours it will be released to make it bookable for other pilots. If you want to fly a flight which is not in our Airline schedule you can do a charter flight. 3.2.0 Network Operations It s not a must but we recommend flying on a Network like IVAO or VATSIM as our System fully supports it. When you decide to fly on a network you have to comply with all network regulations. Please make sure you always have a correct Flight Plan according to R 3.4.0 3
Scheduled Laudamotion Virtual flights must have the scheduled callsign when flying online. 3.3.0 AOS AOS means Airline Operation Standards and are the Laudamotion Virtual standards for flight and ground operations. For all flights Lausamotion ACARS system (vabase ACARS) has to be used. If unable report it to the Staff Team and file a Manual Report. Pilots are allowed to use any aircraft within the fleet to complete a flight. 3.3.5 On ground Ops Turn arounds shell be done as short as possible to reduce ground crew cost. When on ground a GPU shell be used as long as possible. APU should be running not longer then 15 minutes to save fuel costs. 3.3.6 Flight Ops For a normal long range flight a CI of maximum 55 shell be used. A pilot should calculate their Fuel in following way: Taxi Fuel + Flight Fuel + 30min Holding fuel + fuel to the most distant alternate Airport (from destination). A pilot can load extra fuel depending on the Aircraft if there is a reason to do it. 3.4.0 Flight Planning A valid route should be used. A DCT Flightplan will not be accepted. If you are not using a payware program like PFPX we offer you www.onlineflightplanner.org and www.skyvector.com 3.4.1 Long Range Flights On long range flights (every flight above 7 hours) a CI of maximum 45 shell be used. When you are choosing a route overseas make sure that they are within the Airlines ETOPS. ETOPS for all our Aircrafts is 3 hours, which means that you fly a route within 3 hours of an appropriate airport. 3.4.2 Domestic Flights Domestic flights are considered as a flight within one country not crossing the Border. 5
On domestic flight operations a CI of maximum 95 can be used but FL310 is the maximum Flight level for domestic flights. 4.0.0 Privacy policy All data you give us on your registration or thereafter, except your password will be saved by the VA and can be used. Passwords are only safed in hashed form in vabase database. E-Mails and date of birth are only visible by Staff Members. On your registration you agree to receive E-Mails from the VA.
