Victim states sometime between 10:00pm and the following day at 2:00pm someone forced entry into victims shed and took a Gas Hedge Trimmer, Electric Edger and a Gas Edger. 06/30/2017 7:38pm 28000 Everett St. No signs of forced entry. Victim advises that he was the last one to leave his house at approx. 9:50am and he thought that all the doors were locked when he left. Victim returned to the house at approx. 6:45pm and found that there were several items missing from the residence. There were no signs of forced entry. Taken were 1- Flat Screen TV and 2- Laptops.

07/01/2017 1:52am 24000 Lathrup Blvd. Bedroom window was forced open. Victim states sometime between 3:30pm and the following morning at 1:15am someone forced entry into his house by forcing a window on south bedroom. Several areas of the residence were gone through but nothing was taken. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician processed the scene and latent prints were developed. Tips: Let trusted neighbors know if you are not going to be at home Be cautious about who you let in your home for service and repairs Contact the Southfield Police Crime Prevention Bureau for a free home security inspection (248) 796-5409 R/p states that he has been looking after his friend's apartment. R/p states that he was at the apartment at 12:00pm on 07/01/2017 and the apartment was secure. R/p returned to the apartment at 1:00pm on 07/04/2017 and the front door appeared to have been kicked in. R/p states that it did not look as though anything had been stolen. R/p stated that the door had been kicked in once before and maintenance had only fixed it with drywall screws. R/P believes this made it easier to gain entry.

Victim states a friend of hers that she gave the car to was in possession of the vehicle when it was taken. The vehicle was recovered by DPD in Detroit. No arrests were made.

(Office- Medical Building) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer Jeep Model Compass Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year 2017 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State Ohio Description Black 2017 Jeep Compass Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHRYSLER Model 300 Color MAR - Maroon or Burgundy 2005 MI Description 2005 Burgundy Chrysler 300 R/P for Rental Business advises vehicle is a Fail to Return Rental. The vehicle was supposed to be returned on May 25, 2017. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation. Victim states sometime between 4:30pm- 9:26pm someone stole his 2005 Burgundy Chrysler 300. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot at the Medical Building. 06/30/2017 3:29pm 30000 Southfield Rd. (Commercial Department Store) Status UC - Used In The Crime and reported as Stolen Manufacturer DODGE Model DURANGO Color GRY - Gray Vehicle Year 2003 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI - Officers were dispatched to business on a Retail Fraud in progress. Further information was generated that the two suspects were a W/M & W/F and they were leaving in a Gray Dodge Durango. Officer observed the suspect vehicle exiting the business and stopped the vehicle near Southfield Rd. & Webster. During the stop Officer was informed by SPD Dispatch that the suspect vehicle was reported stolen out of another jurisdiction.

After a second Officer arrived on scene, and further questioning of the W/M driver about the vehicle the driver fled from Officers. Officers pursued vehicle until it entered W/B 696 from Telegraph where the pursuit was terminated. Officer ran the names that were given to him by suspects when he stopped them. He was able to positively identify both suspects. Suspect Vehicle was later recovered in another jurisdiction. Incident is under further investigation. From: 07/01/2017 2:25am To: 07/01/2017 2:30am 25000 Lahser Rd (Private- Church) Status SR - Both Stolen And Recovered Manufacturer GMC Model ENVOY Color GRY - Gray Vehicle Year 2003 State MI SUV Recovered Date/Time 07/01/2017 4:00am Victim claims she left vehicle running unattended sometime between 2:25am- 2:30am. During that time someone took off with the vehicle. Victim waited until 3:14pm to report the car stolen? It was discovered at that time that the vehicle had been involved in a Hit & Run accident in Detroit and DPD went to victim s residence at 4:00am looking for victim? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave their vehicles running unattended. The vehicle was parked near his apartment. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

Video surveillance shows a Red Older Model Mini Van, possible Pontiac, pull up next to victims vehicle for a short time at 2:10pm, then leave approximately 2 minutes later. From: 06/26/2017 1:30pm To: 06/26/2017 4:02pm 25000 W Twelve Mile (Commercial- Office) -Touch Screen Car Radio was taken from 2016 Chrysler 300. - Stereo Radio was taken from 2016 Chrysler 300. Victim states sometime between 1:30pm- 4:02pm someone broke out window on vehicle and took car radio from vehicle. R/P reported that an Early Model Tan Lincoln vehicle was noticed parked next to her vehicle between the times that the incident occurred. A second vehicle was also discovered to have had its window broken out and Stereo Radio was taken. From: 06/26/2017 2:03pm To: 06/26/2017 2:15pm 27000 Northwestern (Hotel) -Stereo Radio was taken from 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. -Stereo Radio was taken from 2016 Chrysler 300. Surveillance Video shows a male subject, possibly black, wearing all black began walking towards the rear lot from the Hotel. The male subject appeared to be thin built, approximately 5'-8" to 5'-10" with possibly a goatee or a mask around his face carrying a black backpack. Suspect appeared to duck down and smash the window. At approximately 2:07pm suspect approached the Jeep Cherokee, smashed the window and attached another vehicle

(Chrysler 300) which is currently not reported by the owner. Suspect left the parking lot by 2:15pm and began walking back towards the Hotel. (Private- Country Club) 30000 Galleria Officentre Stereo Radio was taken from 2008 Jeep Commander. Stereo/ Navigation System was taken from 2015 Chrysler 300. Victim states sometime between 11:30am- 5:00pm someone broke out window on his vehicle and took the In-Dash Stereo Radio. Incident occurred in the parking lot at the Country Club. Victim states sometime between 1:05pm- 5:05pm someone broke out window on vehicle and stole the In-Dash Stereo/ Navigation Unit. Incident occurred at the Office Center. From: 06/30/2017 8:00am To: 06/30/2017 12:30pm 30000 Galleria Officentre Catalytic Converter was taken from victims 2003 Oldsmobile. Victim states vehicle was parked in the south lot of the Office Center at 8:00am. Victim returned to vehicle at 12:30pm and discovered the catalytic converter had been cut off the vehicle. Information from a previous LFA in the same parking lot. Information provided by Security. Older Model Tan Mercury Grand Marquis, right front rim is all black. Unknown plate. From: 06/30/2017 6:30am To: 06/30/2017 4:00pm 10000 Galleria Officentre Catalytic Converter was taken from victims 2012 Ford Escape. Victim states sometime between 6:30am- 4:00pm someone cut off the catalytic converter from his 2012 Ford Escape. Incident occurred at the Office Center.

From: 06/26/2017 1:00pm To: 06/26/2017 5:30pm 23000 Greenfield Rd. (Commercial- Office Building) Stereo/ Navigation System was taken from 2017 Chrysler 300. Victim states sometime between 1:00pm- 5:30pm someone broke out window on vehicle and stole the In-Dash Stereo/ Navigation Unit. Incident occurred at the Office Building. From: 06/28/2017 2:03pm To: 06/28/2017 3:15pm 29000 Northwestern (Commercial- Shopping Plaza) 2 Stihl Backpack Blowers and 2 Stihl Weed Whippers were stolen from 2006 GMC Sierra Pick Up Truck. Victim states sometime between 2:03pm- 3:15pm while working (Landscaping) at the Shopping Plaza someone cut the lock off of their trailer and stole Lawn Equipment. From: 06/27/2017 6:00am To: 06/28/2017 6:00am 28000 Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Victims 2008 Saturn Outlook was ransacked but nothing was found missing. Victim states sometime in the last 24 hours, between 6:00am and the following morning at 6:00am, someone entered vehicle and completely ransacked the vehicle. Incident occurred at the victim s Apartment Complex. Possible suspect could be subject that victim has a PPO against from a previous MDOP/ FA / A&B. This suspect has been identified.

(Hospital) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer PARA ORDNANCE Model PARA WARTHOG Serial No. K069016 License No. Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year Body Style State License Year Description SEMI-AUTO.45 CAL 10 SHOT 4" BARRELL Victim believes his gun was stolen out of his vehicle glove box by the Hospital Valet on Tuesday June 27, 2017. His vehicle was in their possession between 3:00pm & 3:45pm. He discovered his gun missing the next day. Victim states sometime between 7:00pm and the following morning at 5:30am someone made entry into her vehicle and took several items from the vehicle. Incident occurred at victims Town Homes.

From: 06/30/2017 2:00pm To: 06/30/2017 2:07pm 22000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial- Carpet Wholesale) Stereo/ Navigation System was taken from 2013 Chrysler 200. Surveillance Video from business shows the suspect vehicle enters the parking lot at approx. 2:00pm. The vehicle pulls past victim s vehicle, and then backs into the parking space next to it. A short time later the suspect then gets back into the rear driver's side of the suspect vehicle and the vehicle leaves the lot. The stereo/ navigation system was later discovered missing from vehicle by victim. Description of suspect vehicle: - Pontiac Montana - Red in color - Older model - Tinted windows all around Description of suspect: - B/M - Approximately 6'-0-6'-2 tall - Medium build - Approximately 30-40 years of age - Wearing a orange t-shirt over a white long sleeve shirt - Cargo type pants - White tennis shoes - Black baseball hat

From: 07/01/2017 11:00am To: 07/01/2017 3:30pm 22000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial- Wholesale Goods) One Wheel & Tire was taken from victims 2017 Ford Fusion. Officer was at business when he was notified by a customer that there was a vehicle in parking lot missing one wheel & tire. Officer located the vehicle and the owner of the vehicle and a report was taken. No suspect info. At this time. From: 07/01/2017 1:39am To: 07/01/2017 10:00am 16000 North Park Dr. (Residential- Apartments) Status S Stolen License Plate License No. DPZ-8306 2017 Description License Plate Belongs On 2011 Chevy Impala. Victim states sometime between 1:39am- 10:00am someone stole the license plate from her 2011 Chevy Impala. Incident occurred at victims Apartment Complex. From: 06/28/2017 7:30pm To: 06/29/2017 8:20am 16000 Cumberland Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Two passenger side Wheels & Tires were taken from 2013 Dodge Journey. 07/02/2017 11:38pm 23000 Greenfield Rd. (Bank) An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from victim. Victim states she is the assistant manager of the business on Greenfield Rd. and was taking a business deposit to the bank around 11:30pm. She pulled her vehicle on the south side of the building in front of the bank drop box. She got out of her vehicle and stepped up to the drop box as she couldn't reach it from her car. She had the bag containing the money under her left arm and was looking down at her keys when an unknown male approached her. He implied he had a gun and said give me the bag" while making a gesture as if he was holding a weapon in his hoodie pocket. Victim gave the bag to the suspect and he ran south until she lost sight of him. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Victim described him as a male wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, approx. 6'-0" tall, and around 230 lbs. He had a deep voice and sounded like a white male. Unarmed Robbery: 06/29/2017 9:33pm 29000 Rambling Rd. Purse with contents was taken and later recovered. Victim was followed home from a business on Southfield Rd. The suspect was known to the victim from the neighborhood. The suspect tried to persuade the female victim to go into nearby park with him but the victim refused and kept walking. The suspect then grabbed the female and attempted to take her purse. The suspect was observed by a witness attempting to drag the victim into the park. The suspect eventually got the victims purse and fled on foot into the neighborhood. A witness helped victim call the police and several Officers responded to area to search for the suspect. Officer located a subject matching the description of the suspect walking near the n/e corner of Rambling St. The suspect walked under a light near the front porch of a residence and stopped at the corner of the house. When the subject observed Officer he immediately doubled back and ran to the back of the residence. Officer ran south to cut subject off. Officer located subject in-between the houses and immediately ordered subject to stop and get on the ground. Suspect complied and he was taken into custody. Victims purse, contents and victims I-Phone were later recovered by responding Officers.

The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and fled from officers. A short pursuit ended when the driver stopped and fled on foot. The driver was apprehended a short distance from the vehicle. - Wheel Locks are a deterrent but don t leave the wheel lock key in the interior of your vehicle, especially the center console or glove box. This is the first place they will look for the wheel lock. -After parking your vehicle turn your wheels all the way to the right or the left. This will make it difficult to get the lug nuts off the front wheels. - If you don t have a garage, try to park your vehicle as close to your residence as possible. -If you here any loud noises near where your vehicle is parked, especially during the late night or early morning hours, attempt to look outside without alerting anyone and if someone is tampering with your vehicle immediately call 911, (Do Not Approach or Scare the Suspects Away) give Police Dispatchers as much information about the suspect(s) and PWID Cocaine/Meth- 3- Arrests 28000 Block of Franklin Rd. (Hotel) 06/27/2017 4:20pm Officers observed a suspicious occupied vehicle while conducting a Property Inspection at the Hotel Parking Lot. A LEIN check revealed that one of the occupants had a felony warrant for possession of methamphetamine. A Southfield Police K-9 Unit responded to the scene to conduct a narcotics sweep on the vehicle. K-9 conducted an exterior narcotics search of the vehicle with a positive alert. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and a scale. All (3) occupants were placed under arrest and lodged in the Southfield Jail.

Officer located the vehicle and initiated a stop. An investigation was conducted and the driver was placed under arrest for Possession of Heroin. OWI- 1- Arrest Evergreen Rd. & Civic Center 06/27/2017 1:33am Officers observed a vehicle stopped in the south roundabout on Evergreen Road and Civic Center. The vehicle had fresh front end damage and the driver was walking aimlessly in the roadway. The driver was investigated for OWI and was subsequently arrested.

OWI/ Possession of Cocaine- 1- Arrest Northwestern & Evergreen Rd. 07/28/2017 1:11am Officer observed a slumped subject in the driver s seat of a vehicle at Northwestern & Evergreen Rd. The subject was awakened and further investigation revealed that the driver was intoxicated and was also found to be in possession of suspected cocaine. The subject was arrested and lodged. Fleeing & Eluding/ R&O- 1- Arrest Northwestern & Bell Rd. 06/30/2017 11:42pm Officers attempted to stop a Chrysler 200 for speeding in a construction zone. The vehicle fled and after a short pursuit, the suspect pulled into the driveway on Dartmouth St. where he was subsequently arrested after a brief struggle with Officers. The suspect had a suspended license as well as 2 misdemeanor warrants.

Fleeing & Eluding- 1- Arrest 07/01/2017 6:42pm S/B M-10 & Southfield Rd. Officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation at location. A LEIN check revealed that the registered owner had an outstanding Felony Warrant out of another jurisdiction for Possession of Cocaine. Officer attempted to stop the vehicle and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspect fled to the area of I-96 and Middlebelt Road where Officer utilized a PIT Maneuver to end the pursuit. The suspect exited the vehicle and continued to flee on foot. The suspect was apprehended and lodged.
