IHG around the world Overview We delivered a good performance this quarter. RevPAR increased 2.3% and net system size is also up 4.1% year-on-year, our strongest since 2010. We had our highest number of Q3 openings for six years and our highest Q3 signings since 2008. Our pipeline is also very healthy sitting at 235,000 rooms with almost half under construction. We have made an excellent start with our plans to accelerate the growth of our brands around the world. Headlines from Q3 2017 Unveiling our newest brand Our family of brands is growing with the introduction of a fresh, highquality midscale brand to our portfolio. IHG Foundation Week 2017 the numbers IHG Foundation Week 2017 saw colleagues across the globe taking part to help build stronger, healthier, more prosperous communities around the world. This year s campaign was recordbreaking, with more than 1 million pledges made. More than 100,000 of you took part in over 10,000 events across each of our regions and this huge effort means that we ve raised vital funds for the IHG Foundation and each of the causes it supports. Holiday Inn - The Joy of Travel for All Our IHG-wide internal communications campaign continued with the next in our global hotel brands series. This time the focus turned to Holiday Inn with a campaign to drive deeper knowledge of what the brand stands for and its strategy to deliver continued growth. The campaign also set out what differentiates the brand and how it is bringing the joy of travel to guests all over the world. A name for our hotel technology platform We are excited to introduce IHG Concerto TM, a powerful platform designed to unite our hotels core technology into a seamless experience including the industry-leading Guest Reservation System (GRS). IHG Concerto features an intuitive interface to manage reservations, rates, inventory, yielding and price optimisation. In the future, it will include all key property systems and tools, making it even easier to deliver great guest service. Concerto is testing in hotels and will deploy globally throughout 2018, integrated with GRS. #1 ranking on the world s leading sustainability index IHG has been listed on the 2017 S&P Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indices, one of the most prestigious global benchmarks for corporate sustainability performance. This is due to our first place ranking in RobecoSAM s Consumer Services Corporate Sustainability Assessment, where we attained the highest score in our industry. This recognises our performance in tackling the industry s biggest social, environmental and economic issues, as well our wider responsible business agenda.

With 350 guest rooms, the hotel will offer two restaurants and a ballroom, forming part of a mixed-use development that includes 400 residences and a boutique shopping arcade.

We expanded the global footprint of EVEN with our first signings in the Greater China region. We signed the 226-room EVEN Hotel Sanya Yalong Bay, scheduled to open in 2019, offering spectacular views. Due to open in 2020, the 280-room EVEN Hotel Shanghai Tourism Zone (pictured) will be part of the Shanghai International Tourism Zone, in close proximity to Shanghai Disneyland Park.
