EDITO Bringing together nightlife market players by day has been the MICS mission since 2010. Created for event management, clubbing and bar professional, our tradeshow has connected decision-makers and owners of the most prestigious party scenes from around the world year after year. HOSTED BUYERS PROGRAM TARGET A WORLDWIDE AUDIENCE MICS just celebrate its 5 th anniversary in 2014. The MICS concept will now be replicated each year in both Asia and Europe: May at the Venetian Hotel in Macau and November at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Launched in 2012, MICS Hosted Buyers Program is an unique component of our show that provides more than 200 top level buyers an opportunity to meet with the exhibitors of their choice for focused one-to-one appointments. With one session of speed-meetings per day in the Hosted Buyers Area, MICS is committed to putting at your disposal numerous opportunities linked to your specific profile, during the event. 3
WHO ARE THE HOSTED BUYERS? QUALIFYING CRITERIA To qualify as a MICS Hosted Buyer and in order to satisfy an evergrowing demand, your business or activity must be in one of the following categories: 1 HOSPITALITY Owner, manager or F&B Manager of a Night Club Owner, manager or F&B Manager of a Bar (Hotel s Bar, Lounge Bar, Restaurant-Bar etc) Owner, manager or F&B Manager of a Beach or a Beach Club 2 DISTRIBUTORS 3 - EVENT INDUSTRY Purchasing Manager for Drink and Spirit Distributor Companies Event Manager or Technical Director Hosted Buyer must have a significant or international influence in the nightlife sector, whilst being a decision maker in your company s activity in order to qualify to our exhibitor s proposition and offers. 4
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ATTENDING AS A HOSTED BUYER? Ground transfer from the Airport to your Hotel and back. Accomodation One double room at Fairmont Hotel Monte Carlo (****Luxury) for 1 night ( Wednesday 4 th or Thursday 5 th or Friday 6 th ) depending your choice. Very preferential prices for rooms at all our partner s hotels. Access to the Hosted Buyers Lounge (Génois Room) with refreshments througout the day. HOSTED BUYERS COMMITMENT + 1 2 3 Be on time on the day of your choice ( Wednesday 4 th, Thursday 5 th or Friday 6 th ) for the speed-meeting session in the Hosted Buyers Area. Proof of travel and confirmation of participation should be sent at least 30 days before the start of the event. Authorize MICS to use your logo on our communication tools and to forward company profile to the attending exhibitors. 6
NETWORKING SYSTEM Each day from 3pm to 5.30pm: 5 sessions of 30 minutes of speed-meetings will be organized in Génois Room. 3pm-5.30pm The meeting room is composed of 20 tables seating 8 people per table. Each table is composed of 3 different exhibitors and 5 Hosted Buyers. Every 30 minutes you will take a seat at the table numbered on your schedule and connect with the other participants. Introduce yourself in 3 minutes in order to respect each person s allocated speaking time. Once these 30 minutes have flown by, just move to the next table on your schedule. Recommendations: Do not hesitate to ask each other questions. In fact, exchange is absolutely fundamental to the speed-meeting. Make sure you have lots of business cards to give to the other participants. 7
