CONGRATULATIONS on getting your Cub Scout out doors and having a fun adventure! It is important that they focus on what they are doing and not on their phone or IPOD or other electronic device. Please have them leave all that at home. When you arrive: Check-In is from 7:30am-8:30am. Please be sure to arrive on time! Check in at the Parade Field. You will see banners as you walk into the area indicating where to check in. Follow the staff directions to park your car, nose facing the road. Place your Parking Permit on your window, and proceed to check in. (Parking Permit found at the end of this document.) When you check in: Have your Cub s Shooting Sports Permission Slip filled out and ready to turn in. (Permission Slip found at the end of this document.) You will be given wristbands indicating you are part of this special event. / Day Page 2 8

Once checked in: Your scout or sibling will join their den and play games in the field just across from check in until Opening Ceremonies. Opening Ceremonies will start promptly at 9 AM so make sure you are here in enough time to get checked in. Once everyone is assembled for opening ceremonies, the day will begin: Parents/Adults head off to the world of Scouts and Siblings head off for their Den meeting in the. Because you will both be very busy, it will be important to note that lunch and such will be handled in the specific groups. At the end of the day, we will all come together for a great camp fire! Not to worry. There will be lots of pictures and things to see when you and your scout come back together to share your experience! / Day Page 3 8
