SPRING CLEANING - SATURDAY MARCH 15 DROP OFF ITEMS AT THE VILLAGE CLUBHOUSE FOR ARC TO PICK UP Feel Great Donate You are helping people in your community access opportunities to live independently or have jobs. You are helping kids and their parents maximize the benefits of special education assistance. You are supporting training and education for families of people with disabilities. arc Thrift Stores is a forty-five year old nonprofit organization with 22 stores in Colorado. Through the sale of gently used clothing and household items, arc Thrift Stores distributes the proceeds to the Arc and ACL Chapters in your community. We strive to continue to enhance the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families by funding advocacy programs pioneered by the Arc and ACL Chapters. arc Thrift Stores' mission is to ensure that all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families have the opportunity to decide how they live, learn, work, and play. We work, with your support, to create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be included in their communities. arc Thrift Stores gladly accepts your quality clothing and household items at any one of our convenient drop off locations. Can't make it to the store? To schedule a pickup of your donated goods, please call 303 238-JANE (5263) or 800 283-2721 and Jane will be happy to help, or if you prefer, you can schedule an online curbside pickup. Recycling Did you know we receive millions of pounds of donations every year? However, not all of your generous donations sell in our stores. That s where our recycling programs kick in. We are one of Colorado s largest recyclers and keep thousands upon thousands of pounds of unwanted, unsaleable merchandise out of landfills. We believe there is always more life in your donations. Therefore, if clothing, shoes, books, toys, handbags, belts, baseball caps and other items don t sell, we bundle them up and send them to Africa, Asia, India and other countries throughout the world. What a great feeling to know that your donation could allow someone to walk far, and do it with shoes on; or to keep warm with a jacket you no longer need; to cook a meal in a pot you don t use anymore or play with a soft toy your child has outgrown.
