The Bryant Collection Offered for Auction Over Two Days Ernest Albert Ernie Bryant III was born in 1931 in Pasadena, CA to Ernest Albert Bryant, Jr. and Judith Tilt Bryant. As a fourth-generation rancher and a thirdgeneration art collector, Ernie inherited a legacy of stewardship of the land as well as an affinity for culture and aesthetic beauty. Once proclaimed a collector of collections by his friends, Ernie s acquisitions came from a place of respect and love of art and artists, ranching, and the rich historical and physical landscape of Southern California. Featuring collections large and small, the Buellton Auction will take place in Ernie s private warehouse in Buellton, CA. This 15,000 square foot building houses wagons, carriages, vehicles and horse tack, as well as camp kits, military surplus, tools, outdoor patio furnishings, and accessories.
