WINTER ACTIVITIES ALPINE SKIING (DOWNHILL) & SNOWBOARDING Kananaskis country offers two great ski hills. Nakiska, site of the 1988 Winter Olympic Alpine events, is located only five minutes away. Enjoy wide-open runs, Olympic length and groomed to perfection. For the more adventuresome, Fortress Mountain offers an excellent variety of terrain. Open December-April (weather dependent).
