Seaside Top (observation deck) (20 min) Enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo's bay area from a height of 152 meters. Imperial Palace Plaza (10 min) Admire the view at this National Garden that was formerly a private garden of the Royal Family. Enjoy the view of Nijubashi Bridge, which is said to be the face of the Imperial Palace, as well as the view of the Imperial Palace itself. Ginza (drive-by) From the window get a look at Ginza, where rows of luxury brand shops, and recently 'fast fashion' retailers, line the streets. Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street (45 min) Senso-ji, Tokyo's oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as "Nakamise" stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops.

Asakusa Boat Cruise Sumida River Cruise (40 min) Cruise around modern day Tokyo and experience the atmosphere of Edo. Sumida River Cruise may be unavailable without prior notice due to river conditions. Changes in the itinerary will be provided by the guide. As the schedule of Sumida River Cruise will be altered during cherry blossom season (expected period: mid-march early April), arrival time may be delayed. During the cherry blossom season (mid-march early April), the Sumida River Cruise ride may be switched to cherry blossom viewing at Sumida Park due to congestion. Hinode Pier Disembark 17:30-17:30 Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal Disembarking only 17:50-17:50 Tour ends at Tokyo Station (Marunouchi South Exit) There is no drop-off service to hotels after the tour ends at Tokyo Station. Day 03: KNI-052 1-Day Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour (Return by Motorcoach) (No Lunch) 07:30-08:30 Pick-up Service This tour can be joined from various meeting points mainly located at major hotels throughout Tokyo. - 09:00 Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal (120 min) Depart from Hamamatsucho and head to Mt. Fuji by bus. (Chuo Expressway or Tomei Expressway) Mt. Fuji 5th Station (30 min) The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. At this height, participants will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds. Lunch Lunch is not included in the tour. Lake Ashi Cruise (15 min) This crater lake along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mt. Hakone was formed by a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago, and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji towering 30 km northwest. Admire the superb view of Mt. Fuji from aboard a ship. Mt. Komagatake Ropeway (50 min) Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Hakone Depart Hakone and return to Tokyo by bus. The bus may make stops at hotels in the Hakone area and Odawara Station. 18:30-20:00 Shinjuku

This 400-year-old shrine houses the remains of Edo period's founder, Ieyasu Tokugawa. Enjoy seeing the traditional beauty of the main hall, as well as the sleeping cat and 3 monkey carvings. *Please note that due to major repair and restoration work, part or all of Toshogu Shrine's Yomeimon Gate will not be visible. Nantai, this lake is a symbol of Nikko. Kegon Falls (30 min) Known as one of Japan's 3 great waterfalls, Kegon Falls towers an impressive 97 meters and gushes water from Lake Chuzenji. The charge to take the Kegon Falls elevator is not included in the booking price. Admire the waterfall from the observation deck facing the falls free of charge.

Visit Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine (40 min) People in Osaka flock to Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine for their first shrine visit for the year. The shrine has over 1,800 years of history. Its main hall is a national treasure. From Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine to Daisen Park Visit Daisen Park Japanese Garden (40 min) This wonderful garden features Japan's outstanding skill in traditional garden landscaping, and offers visitors marvelous scenery all year round, be it seasonal flowers or vibrant autumn leaves. From Daisen Park to Hamono Museum Visit Hamono Museum (30 min) Sakai is a city renowned for cutlery forged by professional craftsmen using traditional skills. It is said that over 90% of knives used by chefs in the food industry are from Sakai. At this museum, enjoy shopping for knives as well as traditional craftwork. Hamono Museum to Namba - 17:30 Tour ends upon arrival near Namba Station. Please head to your next destination on your own." Stops will be made for pick-up at hotels along the way. Nijo Castle (50 min) A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see. Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/new Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead. Kinkaku-ji Temple (45 min) A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond. [Except Mondays] Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 min) See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago. Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to the public on the following days. During these times, Kitano Tenmangu Shrine will be visited instead:

(Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event). [Mondays (and Tuesdays when Monday is a national holiday)] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine (40 min) On Mondays (and Tuesdays if a national holiday falls on the preceding Monday), this tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons. [2018] The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on June 25, September 25 and December 25. [2019] The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on February 25, March 25 and November 25. Lunch (50 min) Enjoy a Japanese/Western-style buffet for lunch. As the meal is served buffet style, vegetarian customers are also welcome. From Kyoto to Nara (90 min) Head to Nara via Nara Keinawa Expressway Sightseeing at Todai-ji Temple (Great Buddha) and Nara Park (60 min) A World Heritage site. This is the symbol of the Nara Period and one of the world's largest wooden structures. Its huge main hall and bronze Great Buddha are impressive to behold. Kasuga Taisha Shrine (40 min) This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers. At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour will not enter areas requiring admission. Nara Nagomikan (20 min) The largest souvenir shop in Nara. Enjoy yourself in this spacious shop and look for the perfect souvenir. Nara Nagomikan may be omitted from the itinerary if it is closed on the day of the tour, or as a result of traffic congestion. From Nara Nagomikan to Kintetsu Nara Station Go to Kintetsu Nara Station via bus and on foot
