Designed by Siemens, this train has a maximum speed of 250 km/h and is considered one of the world s longest with body length of 250 m. Strizh Strizh is a high-speed express train operating on a Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod line. Train cars have both sleeping and seating accommodations. Lastochka Lastochka is a high-speed electric express train by Siemens connecting St. Petersburg and Moscow with major Russian cities at speeds of up to 160 km/h. First and second-class are available. Long-distance trains Long-distance trains are comfortable trains equipped with sleeper cars for comfortable travel between the country s most distant cities. 2

TRANSPORTATION RULES LUGGAGE Passengers may carry carry-on items weighing not more than 36 kg (50 kg for two-seat compartments) and not exceeding linear dimension of 180 cm. PETS Passengers may carry small animals and birds in special containers, baskets or cages. Dog may be carried only in case its owner booked all seats within a compartment. High-speed services all have different pet carry policies. Sapsan. Passengers may carry not more than two small animals in special containers and only at dedicated seats in carriage 8 (or carriage 18 for coupled trains). Pet fee is RUB400.
