Day 2 Thursday, February 27, 2020 Santiago, CHILE Upon arrival in Santiago, you will transfer to your hotel (please note standard check-in time is at 3 pm). Accommodation: TBA (1 night). Day 3 Friday, February 28, 2020 Santiago - Ushuaia, ARGENTINA Morning flight from Santiago to Ushuaia. We visit the at 55 degrees latitude south, Ushuaia (pronounced oo-swy-ah) is closer to the South Pole than to Argentina's northern border with Bolivia. It is the capital and tourism base for Tierra del Fuego, the island at the southernmost tip of Argentina. Although its stark physical beauty is striking, Tierra del Fuego's historical allure is based more on its mythical past than on rugged reality. The island was inhabited for 6,000 years by Yámana, Haush, Selk'nam, and Alakaluf Indians. Afternoon, you will embark the SILVER CLOUD EXPEDITION for your exciting 22-day Silversea Expedition. You will be introduced to your Expedition Team and attend a Zodiac briefing as well as an Antarctic regulations refresher course that outlines the environmental policies we must all adhere to in order to enjoy the privilege of visiting this pristine region at the top of the world. Tonight, we invite you to familiarise yourself with the elegant Silver Cloud, meet some of your fellow travellers and enjoy the first of many memorable meals in one of the restaurants. (B/D) Day 4 Saturday, February 29, 2020 On Iceland s north coast Days at sea are the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and catch up with what you ve been meaning to do. So whether that is whale watching from the Observatory Lounge, writing home to your loved ones or simply topping up your tan by the pool, these blue sea days are the perfect balance to busy days spent exploring shore side. (B/L/D) Day 5 Sunday, March 1, 2020 New Island / West Point Island, FALKLANDS, UNITED KINGDOM The remarkable beauty of the remote Falkland Islands can best be seen on New Island. The westernmost of the inhabited islands of the archipelago, it is a wildlife and nature reserve, and an environmental conservation group protects its many birds and animals. There are rookeries where Rockhopper Penguins and Blue-eyed Shags share the same nesting area. Black-browed Albatrosses can be seen going about their daily routines and it is easy to spot Upland Geese. More than 40 species of birds breed on the island. Located slightly northwest of West Falkland, West Point Island is used for sheep farming and nature observations. Peale s dolphins and the distinctive black and white markings of the Commerson s dolphin can usually be seen in the waters around West Point Island. Rolling moorland and steep cliffs make for great photographic opportunities, but the main attraction is the Devil s Nose, a cliffside colony of Black-browed Albatrosses nesting side-by-side with feisty Rockhopper Penguins. Magellanic Penguins and Magellanic Cormorants can also be found on the island. (B/L/D) Day 6 Monday, March 2, 2020 Stanley, FALKLANDS, UNITED KINGDOM Tiny Stanley, capital of the Falklands, seems in many ways like a British village fallen out of the sky. Many homes are painted in bright colours, adding visual appeal to this distant outpost. Not far offshore, the wreck of the Lady Elizabeth, is one of the many vessels remaining as a silent testimonial to the region's frequent harsh weather conditions. The islands, also known by their Spanish name of Islas Malvinas, are home to arguably more tuxedo-clad inhabitants of the penguin variety than human residents. (B/L/D) Day 7 Tuesday, March 3, 2020

Day 8 Wednesday, March 4, 2020 South Georgia, UNITED KINGDOM Day 9 Thursday, March 5, 2020 South Georgia, UNITED KINGDOM Day 10 Friday, March 6, 2020 South Georgia, UNITED KINGDOM Day 11 Saturday, March 7, 2020 South Georgia, UNITED KINGDOM Day 12 Sunday, March 8, 2020 South Georgia, UNITED KINGDOM South Georgia is a breathtaking destination of towering snow-covered mountains, mighty glaciers, and low-lying grasslands that attract an astounding concentration of wildlife. It is possible to find Southern fur seals, Southern elephant seals and a variety of albatross species including Black-browed, Light-mantled Sooty, Grey-headed and the spectacular Wandering Albatross, plus thousands of King and Macaroni Penguins. South Georgia is also linked to the early Antarctic explorers. (B/L/D) Day 13 Monday, March 9, 2019 Day 14 Tuesday, March 10, 2019 Day 15 Wednesday, March 11, 2019 Day 16 Thursday, March 12, 2020 Dristan Da Cunha, ST. HELENA Tristan da Cunha is the main island of an archipelago with the same name. The Tristan da Cunha island group is home to fewer than 300 hardy residents and is recognized as the most remote inhabited archipelago in the world. Its closest neighboring landmass is the island of St. Helena some 2,430 km (over 1500 miles) away. For fortunate visitors who have cooperative weather conditions and land ashore on Tristan da Cunha, local inhabitants of the village might tell the tale of how the islanders were evacuated from their home during a 1961 lava flow, and how it affected their lives. (B/L/D) Day 17 Friday, March 13, 2020 Nightingale Island, ST. HELENA Nightingale Island is an active volcano and one of three islands in the extremes of the South Atlantic Ocean known as the Nightingale Islands falling within the Tristan da Cunha group. The three islands are administered by the United Kingdom and are visited for scientific research purposes and little else. This means the magnificent wildlife with an estimated one million seabirds, in addition to unusual flora, is all unspoiled by people. Nightingale Island is also a protected wildlife reserve and World Heritage Site. (B/L/D) Day 18 Saturday, March 14, 2020 Gough Island, ST. HELENA Gough Island in the South Atlantic Ocean was originally known as Gonçalo Álvares (named after the captain of Vasco da Gama s flagship). The volcanic island is uninhabited except for the handful of personnel stationed here to operate a South African weather station, making it one of the most remote places with a constant human presence. Gough Island and Inaccessible Island comprise the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gough and Inaccessible Islands as they are protected wildlife reserves and an Important Bird Area. (B/L/D) Day 19 Sunday, March 15, 2020 Day 20 Monday, March 16, 2020 Day 21 Tuesday, March 17, 2020 Day 22 Wednesday, March 18, 2020 Day 23 Thursday, March 19, 2020 Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA (Overnight in Port) If you visit only one place in South Africa, make it Cape Town. Whether you're partaking of the Capetonian inclination for alfresco fine dining (the so-called "Mother City" is home to many of the country's best restaurants) or sipping wine atop Table Mountain, you sense correctly that this is South Africa's most urbane, civilized city. Here elegant Cape Dutch buildings abut ornate Victorian architecture and imposing British monuments. (B/L/D) Day 24 Friday, March 20, 2020 Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning at your leisure. Afternoon, transfer to the airport for your homebound flight. (B) Day 25 Saturday, March 21, 2020 CANADA

Arrival back in Canada this afternoon. (In-flight Meals) Expedition highlights and wildlife listed here are possible experiences only and cannot be guaranteed. Your Expedition Leader and Captain will work together to ensure opportunities for adventure and exploration are the best possible, taking into account the prevailing weather, wildlife activity and ice conditions. Expedition Team members scheduled for this voyage are subject to change or cancellation. Falkland Islands - We will hike to rocky cliffs to see rookeries where Black-browed Albatross, Rockhopper Penguins and Blue-eyed Shags share the same nesting area. On approach to West Point Island we will watch for Peale s dolphins and the distinctive black and white markings of the Commerson s dolphin, while in Stanley we will get to see the various highlights the town and surrounding area have to offer. South Georgia - See one of the large King Penguin colonies found on the island. Enjoy the opportunity to hike looking for flora and fauna. See Grytviken s museum and the historic whaling station, the rusted hulls of long abandoned sealing and whaling ships and working sheds. Pay homage to Sir Ernest Shackleton and Frank Wild at Grytviken's cemetery. Tristan da Cunha, UK - A highlight will certainly be to step ashore on the most remote inhabited archipelago in the world. The main island is home to some 300 hardy residents. Weather and landing depending, we hope to enjoy guided walks with the inhabitants of Edinburgh of the Seven Seas, the main village on the island s north coast. We will be looking for Atlantic Yellow-nosed Albatross, Sooty Albatross, Tristan Thrush, and Tristan Wandering Albatross. Gough and Nightingale, UK - If conditions permit, a Zodiac cruise will be offered at Gough Island. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gough and Inaccessible Islands is a protected wildlife reserve and an Important Bird Area. We will look for Tristan Albatross, Atlantic Petrel, Gough Moorhen, Gough Bunting, and Northern Rockhopper Penguins. Weather permitting; we hope to land on uninhabited Nightingale Island, a protected wildlife reserve and World Heritage Site, where one can see the most magnificent wildlife, flora and fauna all unspoilt by people. Cape Town, South Africa - You can choose to ascend Table Mountain by cable car and explore in the protected area, having a look at the many endemic plants and animals to then travel by bus to Signal Hill for dramatic views over Table Bay and Cape Town. Or you can go on an excursion to see an African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach going along the Atlantic seaboard, continuing through the prestigious suburbs of Bishopscourt and Constantia into the region where South Africa s wine industry began over 3 centuries ago. At one of the local wine estates you will enjoy a formal wine tasting. Kayaking - Silver Wind offers the opportunity to kayak in a small group under the guidance of certified kayak instructors. These special excursions are a chance to appreciate the Falkland Islands and South Georgia in peaceful silence. Cultural Highlights - Meet Falkland Islanders and learn how the Falkland Conflict changed their lives. Meet inhabitants of Edinburgh of the Seven Seas. Wildlife Watch List - Penguins (Magellanic, Gentoo, Rockhopper, King and Macaroni) Seals (Antarctic fur seals and elephant seals) Whales (blue whales, humpback whales, Southern right whales) Birds of note: Blue-eyed Shags, Upland Geese, Black-browed Albatross, Atlantic Yellow-nosed Albatross, and Sooty Albatross, Tristan Thrush, Tristan Wandering Albatross, and Atlantic Petrel, Gough Moorhen and Gough Bunting. Please call us for current pricing, space availability and special promotions. All Bookings with Expo Cruises & Tours: Receive FREE $400 US shipboard credit per suite.
