June 2017 Dear Camper: Thank you for enrolling in our 2017 Warhawk Gymnastics Camp. We know you will enjoy your week or weeks with us on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus. Final camp check-in for all campers is scheduled for 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the campus Visitor Center (see enclosed map) on Sunday July 9 th, Sunday July 16 th, Sunday July 23rd, or Sunday July 30th. All remaining fee payments need to be made 10 days prior to camp check-in. At the Williams Center outside of Gym 3 (Gymnastics Gym) you will receive your schedule for the week, meal card, and room assignment. Do not bring your personal belongings in with you. Bring in your Camp Authorization form and any medications you may be taking. You will then proceed to the Hall where you will reside for the week. All sessions (1, 2, 3 & 4) will reside in Fischer Hall. At 7:00 p.m. all campers and parents will be required to attend a camp meeting in Hyland Hall, Timmerman Auditorium. At this time, we will discuss camp rules and introduce you to some of the staff. After the meeting, campers will depart from the meeting with the UW-Whitewater staff and proceed to their evening session at the gym. Please make sure all campers have their gymnastics gear (leotard, grips, shorts, gym bag, etc.) when they come to the mandatory camp meeting. Please make sure to eat dinner prior to this meeting. At this evening session, campers will report to the Williams Center Gym 3 (2 nd floor) at 7:30 p.m. for stretching exercises, skill evaluation, and an introduction to the week s activities. Evening activities end at 9:00 p.m. and commuters may be picked up at this time from Gym 3. Please remember to submit the Health History Questionnaire/Consent Form online. You will not be allowed to participate in camp activities without this form.
