The reviews speak for themselves Sometimes, resorts just get it right. The big things, the quality of the resort, the service, the location, but equally important, are also the little things. There's a saying that goes "Perfection is a lot of little things done well". Club Med Valmorel wins on every front. This was our first Club Med experience and it was outstanding! The chalet was perfect. Two story, two bedroom, two bathroom, very comfortable, with a beautiful view. Built in local timber and stone that had a truly authentic feel of a home away from home that - quite frankly, I'm feeling homesick for right now! Our butler, Laurent, was just wonderful. He was kind, friendly, genuine and anticipated our every need, going above and beyond to make our experience amazing. Two of us in the family are gluten intolerant and Laurent made sure we had gluten free bread, pancakes, crepes and pastries everyday. He prepared a magnificent daily breakfast for us, which was a beautifully presented spread of the finest regional cheeses, fresh fruit, eggs, breads and more! Afternoon tea in the chalet was truly decadent and included handmade pastries from one of the finest chefs in France along with fresh fruit, regional cheeses and breads. It was superb!
