Manchester Airports Group

WHO ARE WE? MAG is a leading UK based airport company, which owns and operates Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports. MAG is privately managed on behalf of its shareholders, the local authorities of Greater Manchester and Industry Funds Management (IFM). IFM is a highly experienced, long-term investor in airports and already has significant interests in 16 airports across Australia and Europe. Our airports continue to outperform the market, seeing strong passenger growth of 7.0% over the last year. Combined Group turnover was 818.1m in FY2018. MAG airports serve approximately 58.9 million people per annum from complementary catchment areas covering over 75% of the UK population.

OUR CONNECTIVITY AIR SERVICE DEVELOPMENT MAG has a diverse carrier mix from global destinations with an excellent track record of incentivizing passenger growth. MAG has exceeded expectations with industry leading rates of passenger growth. Importantly for passengers, by forging strong commercial partnerships with airlines, our airports have been able to increase choice and convenience and make a stronger contribution to economy growth. CARGO SERVICE DEVELOPMENT The total tonnes of cargo shipped by MAG totals 745,000 and represents 26% of the UK air cargo market share. East Midlands is the UK s largest dedicated freight hub handling 358,477 tonnes of freight per annum. Stansted handles 263,153 tonnes of freight per annum and is a key gateway to London and the South of England.

OUR INVESTMENTS MANCHESTER AIRPORT TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME: With investment of over 1 billion, Manchester will become one of the most modern and customer focused airports in Europe demonstrating the importance of Manchester as a global gateway. Expansion of Terminal 2 to become the airport s primary terminal building. New and enlarged airside transfer facilities, with direct linkage between T2 & T3. New stands and piers, offering improved departure gate facilities. Introduction of customer friendly enhancements, including 50 retail outlets. A new, enlarged security hall which will screen more passengers more quickly. LONDON STANSTED TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME: London Stansted Transformation Programme is focused on three key areas that will deliver capacity to maximise our single runway operations. AIRSIDE (C. 100M) Upgrade to airside infrastructure to support an increase in peak hour movements - 20 additional stands and rapid access/exit taxiways.

ARRIVALS (C. 130M) Dedicated building for all arriving passengers will provide immigration, baggage reclaim, customs and baggage off load - designed over 3 levels with a gross floor area of approximately 35,000m2. DEPARTURES (C. 220M) Existing terminal will be transformed to a dedicated departure only terminal providing shore line check in with increased number of desks, secondary security screening area, additional seating and extended baggage facilities. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Our aim as a business is to grow. But we recognise too that the size, scale and nature of our business means we have a duty to pursue that growth in a responsible way, minimising our impact on our environment and maximising the support and benefit we offer to the areas we serve. Protecting the environment should be important for any business, but as airport operators we recognise we have a particularly important role to play in ensuring the protection of the environment and minimising impacts on local residents. Our airports play a key role in both national and local economies. Not only do we directly support local employment, but our airports also connect the UK to countries across the world, providing the trade, travel and export links that drive growth and support thousands more jobs up and down the country.
