Cheque (USD) or Credit Card # must accompany registration. 2. Complete hotel registration form and fax it directly to the Las Brisas Hotel in Ixtapa see attached hotel registration form. 3. Convention Details Convention Registration Your registration fee includes attendance for you and a guest at convention events noted in the final convention program. This includes all breakfasts, lunches, dinners (meals and beverages included), business sessions, personal growth sessions and keynote addresses. In addition a number of tours, a fishing derby and a golf tournament are available to delegates and guests for a nominal fee. Early Bird Convention Rate For those registering and paying prior to December 5, 2008 a reduced rate of $1,325.00 USD will apply. Those registering after December 5, 2008 a rate of $1,425.00 USD will apply. Children s Package Children under 18 are welcome to attend the convention. A fee of $500.00 USD/child should accompany the registration. Cancellation Fees Should you cancel your registration prior to January 15, 2009, a $100.00 USD cancellation fee will apply and the balance of your fees will be cheerfully refunded. Cancellation after January 15, 2009 is non-refundable. Optional Events All optional events listed below are available to all delegates, guests and children. The costs is in addition to regular convention fees and payment must accompany your registration. All optional events must be booked prior to the convention and are available on a first come, first served basis. Gone Deep Sea Fishing March 1st This event includes a continental breakfast at the hotel, round trip transportation, boat with crew, bait, tackle, fishing license, soft drinks and beer, and light box lunch. A fee of $100.00 USD per person applies. Golf Tournament March 3rd The convention golf tournament is always a sell-out so plan to attend and register early. The 2009 tournament shall take place at the beautiful Marina Ixtapa Golf Course. Event includes a special golfer s grab and go breakfast, transportation to and from the course, green fees, cart, hamburger/hot dog lunch with beer or soft drink, contests and prizes. A fee of $65.00 USD applies. Any preferences regarding team placement should accompany the registration. Golf Clubs A limited number of golf clubs are available for rent the course has only 25 right-handed and 5 left-handed rentals available. Clubs are available for rent on a first come, first served basis. A fee of $50.00 USD applies. Sail & Snorkel Tour March 3rd Cast off at 10:00 am from Zihuatanejo Bay to the beautiful, secluded white sand beach and coral reef of Playa Manzanillo. Snorkeling, swimming and shell collecting are the orders of the day. Party back to the bay with a magnificent spinnaker run and anchor in front of Play La Ropa for a ride on our 2400SQ Spinnaker and play with our various water toys. Disembark at 2:30 pm. Includes round trip transportation from the hotel, box lunch, open bar and snorkeling gear. A fee of $65.00 USD applies. Ixtapa Island Tour March 3rd Just bring your towel and suntan lotion and the day will surely turn into a pleasant adventure. It takes about 20 minutes driving time to get to Playa Linda, where you can see some impressive crocodiles, turtles and different species of tropical birds. Embark with your guide on a short boat ride to the Ixtapa Island, a charming and quiet paradise, abounding with lush tropical vegetation. After setting up headquarters under a romantic palapa in a rustic setting, you may initiate different activities or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful view. Trip includes round trip transportation, boat ride, tour guide, lunch with two drinks. Duration is 5 hours. Additional water sports equipment (snorkel gear, wave runner, parasailing etc. are available on site for an additional fee). A fee of $65.00 USD applies.
Convention Details (continued) Countryside and Shopping Tour March 3rd Drive along the scenic road, leaving Zihuatanejo southbound towards Acapulco. Your tour guide will explain the history, cultural and anthropological background of the region. Discover an old brick factory and witness the antique technique still utilized in the area. Enjoy the visit at a local fruit plantation and taste the fruit in season. Your guide will make sure you are introduced to some of the most interesting shops in downtown Zihuatanejo. Includes round trip transportation, tour guide, lunch at Casa Elvira restaurant with two drinks. Duration 5 hours. A fee of $65.00 USD applies. Optional Golf We have negotiated a rate of $85.00 USD per person (green fees and shared cart) with the Marina Ixtapa Golf Course for WCR&HCA Delegates from February 28, 2009 to March 7, 2009. Weather & Dress Code The temperature is always in the mid 80 s, so dress is Casual throughout the entire convention!
