SUB FOR SANTA REPORT A Message from Jacob McHargue City Manager I want to thank our residents for helping make our Sub-for-Santa program such a success this year. Our residents reached out so quickly that we were able to sponsor our original family and another beyond that, for a total of 8 children. I was very impressed as the gifts came pouring in and how generous our residents are! Myself and another City employee had the opportunity to deliver the gifts that were donated by our residents. The gratitude on the faces of the receiving parents was something I wish I could have captured to share with all of you. Both families wanted me to express to you how much this meant for their families. The mother of one of the families met us outside of her home, and with tears in her eyes, told us that this was going to make a huge difference for her family. She was extremely grateful and was so excited to share the gifts with her children. It was an awesome experience that I am thankful to have been a part of it. Thank you again to you all for being the kind of community that is always looking for ways to help others and make a difference.
