Option 2: Bali & Lombok Day Sun 9 Jul Mon 10 Jul Service Meet & Greet at Bali International Airport, transfer hotel in Down Town Seminyak, Bali. Check in & free evening to get acquainted with the area, recommended walk in Legian St. for dinning. Overnight in Bali. Take Breakfast at hotel. Check out & bus ride to the Harbor. Embark on a 90min boat ride to Lombok, the neighboring Island to Bali. Arrive Lombok and transfer to Sembalun village at the foot of Mount Rinjani. Check in at your lodge. (Free time for lunch). If time allows. Head to visit the waterfalls, a short hike in the rain forest, during which you would have to cross the river three times to reach the waterfalls and swim in the refreshing cold water Tues 11 Jul Dinner, followed by Rinjani Hike Orientation Session. Stretch your muscles, buckle up and start trekking through the sheltered thick tropical forest with rich flora, bird life and a variety of butterflies. You might see orchid and, if lucky, the rare black leaf monkey, known locally as Lutung. Lunch on the route. Reach the Crater Rim (2639M) by the sunset time. Wed 12 Jul Group will split into two: Scenic Trekkers & Summit Trekkers. The Summit trekking is for those looking for a challenge, reaching the summit is an achievement, while the scenic route is an enjoyable walk. Summit Trekkers: Wake up very early and under the cover of darkness with a hot chocolate drink and a light breakfast head towards the summit of Rinjani 3726m. Witness sunrise from the peak from the 2nd highest volcano in Indonesia, panoramic view of Lombok island, you can even see Bali with your naked eyes and Segara Anak Lake. Descend afterwards to catch up with the Scenic Trekkers at the Senaru Crater Rim 2641m. Scenic Trekkers: Wake up and open your tent to watch the sunrise with your cup of coffee. After breakfast head to Segara Anak Lake (2000M) and enjoy beautiful view along the way down to the lake. Reach the lake and dip yourself into the Hot Springs water and enjoy the natural treatment. Enjoy the Natural Spa to the max. while your lunch is being cooked. After lunch continue to Senaru Crater Rim (2641M), our camp site for the night. Thurs 13 Jul Fri 14 Jul Dinner at the campsite and Overnight in the mountains. Breakfast will be served while the sun is rising at the campsite. After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise with all hikers together, we will leave Mount Rinjani and descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours and lunch will be served at a resting point along the way. Arrive at Senaru village (601 m) check in your rooms, shower, rest, relax and share your experience and photos with your hike mates. Dinner & Overnight in Senaru Village, Lombok. After breakfast, we continue our trip and walk around the main active crater rim while watching the mountain monkeys playing around.
