Dear master, coach, students and parents. I have the honour to invite you to the tournament KATANA CUP - Bohinj OPEN 04,.3.04. Also this year we are doing our best with the help of the Karate Federation and Slovenia and region of Bohinj. Our competition has been upgraded. Contestants will be rewarded with unique medals. This year more than 400 medals will be presented, the winners in the older categories will be awarded by the real Katana. There are categories for young children, who are divided into categories by their belts. The competition is also suitable for less experienced participants. A competitor may take part in both categories: his own kyu category and in the absolute category. We would like to popularize also veterans participation ( age 30+, 0- kyu, age 30+ absolutely, category 40+ absolutely and 50 + category in absolute terms ). We will also include team fights, because we believe that there is a lack of team competitions. Veterans and master women have adjusted rules according to their age category. Team consists of three man participants and women. Special attraction this year is the category GRAND MASTER, where the first best three are awarded by rich rewards. And last but not least, we reduced the entry fee for individual performances. We would like to remind team leaders also to the category of participants with limited needs Dissability. As for their effort, their work should be particularly highlighted. The competition will be guided with the help of global logistics center Sportdata which takes care of all major competitions in the WKF. The exact schedule of the competition will be published already the day before the competition on our website, on Friday up to 6.00 which is also the last date to sign up.
