What to Wear It will be cold, keep your heat in and the cold out! Helmet, SilverStar will provide you with a helmet, which you MUST wear Goggles or Sunglasses, to protect your eyes from the sun or driving snow Waterproof Gloves or Mittens, mittens are warmer Ski Coat and Pants, ideal. A warm, waterproof coat and pants are essential Lots of Layers, keep you body toasty warm under your outer layers Thick Socks to keep your toes warm, but only one pair!

Wearing your Helmet Unless you have your own Ski/Snowboard helmet, you will be provided with one in the Rental Shop Remember NO helmet = NO participation

What NOT to Wear Cycle Helmet great for your bike, but not enough protection in an accident on the mountain Jeans you might look cool on the bus coming up the hill, but you will soon be cold, wet, and miserable in the snow Wool or Cotton Outer Layers even your most beloved hoodie will get covered in snow, won t keep you warm, and may get ruined Scarves or Tassels if you wear a scarf, keep it tucked into your coat. Tassels may get caught in your gear and equipment. Neck tubes are ideal Backpacks must be left in the lunch room and are not allowed to be worn in your lessons

Before Your Trip What to Bring, A Good Lunch Water Extra Layers What NOT to Bring, Valuables Equipment and Clothing, make sure you organise your essentials, so that you are all ready to go the morning of your BIG trip and include extra layers. Don t forget your helmet or equipment if you have it, and make sure if you are borrowing equipment it is right for you! - Any equipment that is not suitable, we will advise your school and could result in you not being able to take part that day.

Before your Trip Rentals, the rental shop will need to know your height, weight and shoe size to ensure the right equipment is waiting for you on your arrival Snowsport School, will need to know your riding/skiing ability before you arrive, to ensure there are the appropriate instructors to teach you. Be HONEST about your ability, you won t enjoy the day if the terrain is too difficult and your buddies won t enjoy getting cold waiting for you

When you Arrive STAY ON THE BUS A member of the SnowSports School will greet you on your bus when you arrive! What happens next? You will be told what color flag in the village your lesson is meeting at and at what time. Tickets IF you have a season pass, you do not need an additional lift pass on the day - it is your responsibility to make sure you have a lift pass / ticket if you need one Your teacher or parent helper will have the tickets so please collect one as you get off the bus Those who need rental equipment IF you need equipment you must follow the instructor over to rentals straight away on getting off the bus

Rentals Outside The Rental & Ski Dazzle Shop Please queue outside at the bottom step, Skiers one side and Snowboarders the other! Your instructor will lead you in. In The Rental Shop We will get you inside & fitted as soon as everyone is together, so please don t delay in getting off the bus! Don t need rentals? Go straight to the brown bag lunch room area to drop off your bags and get ready for your lesson Not sure where that is just ask, teachers and parent helpers will also be on hand to help point you in the right direction.
