CAMP LYNDON CAMP OFFERINGS ROPE COURSE Campers will get the opportunity to participate in a number of high/low elements as well as group activities to promote team work and leadership skills. BOATING Campers can safely learn canoing, kayaking and other boating skills. SWIMMING Campers will get the opportunity each day to cool down with a combination lesson and free swim period under the supervision of our certified lifeguards. SPORTS Camp Lyndon has many places to play and the sky is limit. From traditional ball sports, field games, court games, and more. OUTDOOR ADVENTURE Campers will have the opportunity to learn outdoor living skills such as fire safety, shelter building, orientation, as well as age appropriate environmental education. ARCHERY Take aim in this traditional camp activity in a safe environment. FAMILY FUN NIGHTS Come join fellow campers, their families and our amazing staff for a BBQ dinner, boating, archery, swimming and camp songs around a fire! S mores anyone? Offered FREE of charge! CAMPER OVERNIGHTS Offered to campers ages 9 and up, kids get the chance to spend the night at camp in our cabin bunk houses. Extended program activities, dinner and breakfast and lunch the next day are included. There is an extra charge for each overnight and sign up forms are REQUIRED. Theme weeks are designed to ensure that campers can have the best summer ever. Each day builds to the end of the week to an all camp celebration of the theme. WEST BARNSTABLE DAY CAMP CAMP OFFERINGS We offer a taste of everything at West Barnstable Day Camp. Our summer is built of themes including pirate week, music and entertainment week, wild animals and much more. This is achieved through field trips or visiting enrichment throughout the 9 weeks of summer. Weekly ongoing enrichment such as dance, nature and art are looked forward to by each camper. ACTIVITIES West Barnstable Day Camp offers campers the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities throughout the summer such as: archery, sports, swimming, nature and arts. SWIMMING Campers receive instructional swim lessons and recreational swim time in the Y s two indoor pool. FIELD TRIPS There will be a weekly field trip. Bus leaves at 9:30am and will return by 3:45pm. THEMES WEEKS Pirates, music, arts & entertainment, Olympics, prehistoric, superheros and crazy week, to name a few. Through these efforts we hope to provide a solid footing for the pre-teen years ahead. The Cape Cod YMCA staff will use reasonable efforts to minimize my child s exposure to known risks, but I recognize that not all dangers and hazards can be foreseen. Further, I am aware that certain inherent risks exist in some programs and activities that are beyond the control of the Cape Cod YMCA. I acknowledge the absolute responsibility of my child to follow safety rules, standards, guidelines and procedures established for each activity and program. Medications MUST be in the original container with a correct and current prescription label (pharmacy will provide a separate container upon request).
