RULES 1. All classification and judging will be based upon the British Cactus & Succulent Society Handbook of Shows 10th. Edition. 2. Classes are open to all members of the British Cactus & Succulent Society, and Wiltshire Branch Members. 3. All entries must be bona fide property of the exhibitor. 4. Up to three entries in each class may be made by each exhibitor, 5. All entries must reach the Show Secretary not later than Wednesday 13th. June 2018. 6. All exhibits must be staged between 9.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. on the day of the show, and will not be removed until the close of the show at 3.30p.m. 7. The decision of the Judge will be final. At the Judge s discretion awards may be withheld if the quality of the exhibits is deemed to be below standard. 8. Protests are accepted on technical matters only, and must be handed to the Show Secretary in writing not later than 2.30 p.m. on the day of the Show. 9. Any means of identification connecting an exhibit with the exhibitor will result in that exhibit being disqualified. 10. All exhibits, personal property etc. are brought to the Show at the risk of the exhibitor. No responsibility is accepted by the Organisers or the B.C.S.S. for any loss or damage whatsoever but all reasonable care will be taken. 11. It is desirable but not compulsory that all plants are correctly and legibly named. 12. Round pot size is the diameter measured at the top inside rim. Square pots size is the length measured across one side of the top inside the rim. 13. All cups and trophies are perpetual challenge awards and remain the property of the Wiltshire Branch of the B.C.S.S. All winners must under take to return the trophies in good order when requested to do so. 14. Class entry cards will be available on the morning of the show. 15. When calculating points gained by an exhibitor the following system will be used:- First-5 points Second-3 points Third-2 points HC-1 point. 16. Entry to the show constitutes acceptance of the above rules. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All exhibitors and branch members are encouraged to bring plants for sale on the Branch Sales table. each plant must be in an individual pot, with a clearly marked label denoting the sale price and vendor. The Branch takes a 20% commission of any sale.

Melksham Assembly Hall The Assembly Hall is situated immediately behind Melksham Town Hall, in the Market Place opposite The Tavern Public House and Kings Arms Hotel. There are central car parks within easy walking distance Where to Park: There is limited parking in front of the Assembly Hall and further parking behind. This is accessed via a drive down between the Hall and Melksham House about 100metres away. More car parking is in Church St, which is down the High Street and turn lef then right.
