Gippsland Group Update You are invited to attend the upcoming AGM of the Engineers Australia Gippsland Group on Thursday, 19 November 2009. The AGM is an opportune time for us to reflect on the success and highlights of the past 12 months of activity and build a successful platform for the next 12 months. You will hear from the President and Treasurer who will present their official reports and we will also conduct an election of office bearers and committee for 2009/2010. The success of our group relies solely on the input of volunteers who have a passion for the profession and want to provide an opportunity for like-minded people to come together and share ideas, conversations and North East Group Update Our most recent events included a very interesting presentation by Dr Craig McPherson, Senior Transport Planner, SKM on Transport Modelling and its relevance to transport planning within our region. The event was held at the Benalla Bowls Club on Wednesday the 22nd July 2009 and attracted a large audience of 40 people. We also held a presentation on the multi million dollar Redevelopment of the Propellant Manufacturing Plant in Mulwala on Wednesday 9th September 2009 at the King River Café in Oxley. learning opportunities.
