Greeting & Invitation Greetings Family and Friends! The Family Reunion Host Committee is immensely excited to extend to you our welcome and invitation to the 2017 Stop of the Cunningham Love Train - A Taste of CHICAGO! Nicknamed The Windy City, Chicago is located on the shores of Lake Michigan, resulting in fierce winds and brutally cold winters. However, the summer months are second to none, and in our opinion, July is one of the absolute best months to visit Chi-Town. Therefore, continuing our tradition, we have elected the official dates of Saturday, July 1st to Tuesday, July 4th for our 2017 reunion event. In order to keep costs as affordable as possible, we have selected the Village of Schaumburg, known as the Gateway to the Windy City as our home base. Our host hotel for the reunion is the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago, where we were able to secure an affordable hotel rate of $95 + taxes per night for a standard guest room. This relaxing Chicago northwest suburban community was ranked one of the Top 50 meetings and events destinations in America. What better place for the Cunningham Love Train to stop to celebrate our 20 th biennial family reunion. Minutes from our reunion hotel are numerous venues for shopping, dining, recreation and entertainment. The hotel provides daily free shuttle service within 5 miles, 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. Mark Your Calendars! We were able to secure excellent room rates at the Hyatt Regency. The standard guest room rate is $95 + tax per night. Also available is an executive suite that sleeps up to 3 for $190 + tax per night, and a two-bedroom parlor suite that sleep up to 8 for $290 + tax per night. Call the hotel directly for details on suites. These rates are available from June 27 to July 8, 2017, if you extend your stay. Spacious suite boasts a separate bedroom featuring one king or two double Hyatt Grand Beds. In addition, accommodations include an inviting parlor, an outdoor patio, a dining area, wet bar and kitchenette no sleeper sofa. The winner must attend the reunion and pay the standard guest room rate and taxes. Prize has no cash value. All Fundraisers will be recognized in the reunion program and receive a unique lapel pin.
