DAY 1: Nairobi Arrival THE AFRICAN SKIES LAIKIPIA / ABERDARES / LAKE BARINGO / LAKE NAKURU / MASAI MARA Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay. You will have a pre safari briefing before check in at the hotel. Overnight at COUNTRY LODGE. (Bed & Breakfast) DAY 2: Nairobi - Laikipia Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi and depart driving northwards past the rich agricultural farmlands of central Kenya and further on to the wilderness of Laikipia. Laikipia, lying on the thresholds of Kenya s wild Northern rangelands stretches from the slopes of Mt Kenya to the rim of the Great Rift Valley and is larger than all of Kenya s national parks and reserves except Tsavo. Its magnificent escarpments descend into the arid lands and semi deserts of Northern Kenya. Late lunch on arrival at your campsite located on Il Polei group ranch. Il Polei group ranch has dedicated 5,600 acres for wildlife conservation to the 43,000 acre Naibunga Conservancy, which links 9 group ranches in central Laikipia. Afternoon at leisure to undertake the various activities on offer which include: Scenic walks & hikes with the Masai to learn how people, livestock and wildlife live together despite the growing challenges, visit to the Uaso Ngiro Baboon project and biking. Dinner and overnight at your campsite at IL POLEI CONSERVANCY. (Full Board) DAY 3 & 4: Laikipia Full day at the conservancy with daily activities as per your convenience.
Il Polei group ranch has several campsites within its wildlife conservancy. Some are positioned near a seasonal river bed and others next to rocky hills, with viewpoints. All meals and overnight at your campsite at IL POLEI CONSERVANCY. (Full Board) DAY 5: Laikipia Aberdares National Park After breakfast, depart for Aberdares National Park. Arrival for lunch at your campsite in Aberdares National Park. Set up camp and rest of time at leisure. Afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight will be at REEDBUCK CAMPSITE. (Full Board) DAY 6: Aberdares National Park Full day in this dynamic park known for its majestic peaks of the mountain ranges, deep ravines that cut through the forested Eastern & Western slopes and a diverse variety of the elusive forest mammals. Bird life is also abundant with over 250 species on record. Your may opt to undertake the various activities (payable direct) on offer which include, hiking, trout fishing, guided nature / bird walks or visit the information centre and learn about the conservation initiatives of harmonizing the human population in the region with Wildlife. All meals and overnight will be at REEDBUCK CAMPSITE. (Full Board) DAY 7: Aberdares National Park Lake Baringo After breakfast, depart Aberdares driving down the Eastern wall of the rift valley and further north to arrive Lake Baringo in time for late lunch at Roberts Campsite. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the Camp s facilities and activities on offer. Activities on offer include boat ride
around the lake, visit to the traditional village, guided / bird walks. (Activities payable direct) Dinner and overnight at ROBERTS CAMPSITE. (Full Board) DAY 8: Lake Baringo Full day in Lake Baringo. You have the choice of undertaking the extra activities on offer which are payable direct. You could also visit the nearby Lake Baringo Country Club and relax by the pool. Membership to the club payable direct. After lunch, you will drive to the nearby Lake Bogoria National Reserve for a game drive at the reserve. The reserve is popular for its Spring Jets, Geysers and Hot Springs. It is also one of the best reserves to chance for the Greater Kudu. All meals and overnight at ROBERTS CAMPSITE. (Full Board) DAY 9: Lake Baringo Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast, depart Lake Baringo driving along the floor of the Rift Valley to arrive Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at your campsite. Afternoon game drive around the lake to view the thousands of flamingos famously known as one of the World s Greatest Spectacles and the largest rhino population Kenya has to offer. Dinner and overnight will be at MAKALIA CAMPSITE. (Full Board) DAY 10: Lake Nakuru National Park Full day in Lake Nakuru with morning and afternoon games drives as per your convenience. The park is one of the best places in Kenya to chance for leopards. In the afternoon you will visit a child recovery centre in Nakuru town. The centre is home for street and destitute children from the surrounding areas. The Centre gives the children a home and an opportunity to discover and utilize their potential and talents in order to better their lives and become independent and responsible people in the society.

(Full Board) DAY 11: Lake Nakuru National Park Masai Mara National Reserve Early breakfast and depart for the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve with packed lunch, driving past the Masai town of Narok. Game drive enroute to your campsite at Masai Mara National Reserve. Set up camp and rest of time at leisure. All meals and overnight at CROCODILE CAMPSITE. (Full Board) DAY 12 & 13: Masai Mara National Reserve Full days in the Masai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve as per your convenience. The reserve is best described as the jewel in the crown of Kenya s wildlife reserves. The game drives will give you more superb photographic opportunities to capture the wild game and magnificent bird life, all which have made the reserve famous. You will also have a guided bush walk during one of the days. The walk will give you an opportunity of exploring the reserve on foot identifying the wild game foot prints and learning about the botanical importance of the flora in this reserve. All meals and overnight at CROCODILE CAMPSITE. (Full Board) DAY 14: Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi Early morning game drive as per your convenience. After breakfast, depart driving along the floor of the Rift Valley to arrive in Nairobi in time for your outbound flight. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
