Sea Turtle Project Mahamodara Mahamodara is village with an undeveloped beach where many sea turtles lay their eggs Sea Turtle Hatchery is run by Nilanga and his family There is almost no proper conservation for Sea Turtles in Sri Lanka Aim is to grow this center into a community/education center and eventually have natural nesting with rangers on the beach

What do you need to bring? A complete kit list will be provided before the trip with an online consent form, but the main things are: Appropriate clothing and closed shoes that may get wet Hats, water bottles and sunscreen Hiking back pack Bug spray Towels and personal hygiene requirements Warm Layer - Jumper Optional: Camera to record memories
Sri Lanka Trip Kit List Visit Adventure HQ for help choosing your kit and exclusive discounts. Don t forget you must sign up for camp online at least 4 months before the trip! Below is a check list of recommended kit to bring along on your trip. All items brought on camp are your responsibility and brought at your own risk, we recommend that you label everything with your name and school. The absolute essentials! Passport - 6 months validity Sri Lanka visa copy Any other relevant travel documents Hat Refillable Water Bottle (at least 1 litre) Sun Screen Clothing Check with your teacher if you need to bring a laptop or camera. Shorts (2 pairs) T-shirts - not vest tops (1per day) Underwear (1 pair/day) Socks (1 pair/day) Long sleeve light shirt (2 pairs) Light weight trousers (1 pair) Warm top (Fleece or jumper) Pyjamas Trainers (everyday) Trainers (old) - will get wet and dirty You will be outside all day, if you don t have a hat to keep the sun off you ll get burnt and if you don't have a water bottle you ll be very dehydrated! Swimming kit - rash vest, shorts, swimming costume Raincoat Warm bottoms (Leggings or track pants) It can get cold and it does rain but whatever the weather, we can carry usually on with our planned activities if you have the correct kit. What we need from you To register your child for camp you will to fill in our online consent form which we will provide to the school to send out to parents. This what covers them under our insurance.
