AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION TRANSPORTATION DATES/TIMES BY AIR FOR ALL SESSIONS Air Arrival and Departure Dates/Times: Campers arriving by air are expected one day before their session begins. Please arrange flights for arrival and departure between 12:00PM and 7:00PM to Newark Airport so that your child will be well rested for her first day of camp. Notify camp to confirm arrival and departure details before confirming your flights. Flights not arriving or departing within these time frames that have not been discussed with and approved by Camp Netimus will be charged an additional $50. Unaccompanied Minors: Most airlines require paperwork and a fee for children flying as unaccompanied minors. Please be aware of this when booking your child s flight. This is parent s responsibility. Some airlines require the name of the Camp Netimus chaperone picking up your child. These names are available 3 days before flight arrival. - send your child with cash in the event of unexpected charges (such as extra luggage) by the airlines Camper Arrival by Air: Qualified Camp Netimus staff members meet all flights and will be outside of U.S. Customs wearing a Camp Netimus staff shirt and holding a sign with the name of the camp or the child's name on it. We use our own camp vans for trips to and from the airports. Campers call home upon arrival unless Camp Netimus is otherwise advised by parents in writing. Check flight details and notify Camp Netimus immediately about any changes. Camper Departure by Air: Qualified Camp Netimus staff members take campers to the airport in camp vans. They see that the campers tickets and luggage are checked and then stay with the campers at the gate as long as Airport Security and the airline permit. Staff members do not leave the airport until the campers pass through the gate, board the aircraft and the plane departs. Check flight details and notify Camp Netimus immediately about any changes. LUNCH - please provide a box lunch and beverage. LUGGAGE - limited to one trunk, one duffle, one small piece of hand luggage, a tennis racket and/or hockey/lacrosse stick.
