Brand and Idea MISTURA is the biggest gastronomic fair in Peru and Latin America. It s a place to celebrate our diversity and share our culture, every peruvian citizen takes pride of it and foreign citizens enjoy the gastronomic boom of Peru. MISTURA Franchise aspires to be a medium for cultural exchange worldwide, as the first franchise Marca Peru and the first Marca País franchise in Latin America.

History The idea was born, in 2008, under the name "Peru Mucho Gusto" and gathered more than 30,000 visitors in 3 days. In 2009, MISTURA was born and, in 6 days, it exceeded 150,000 guests. Until 2017, in its 10th edition, it would achieve annual records of more than 500,000 people. In 2010, Spain was invited and, given the warm welcome, it became a tradition to have a country as a guest in each edition. This, in addition to the thematic areas known as "Worlds", makes of MISTURA an unprecedented celebration.

Bernardo Roca-Rey Bernardo Roca-Rey is president of APEGA, the Peruvian Association of Gastronomy. As father of Novoandina cuisine, he is the main advocate of peruvian gastronomy in the world, and the creator of MISTURA franchise, today a national initiative. He is also a Board Member of Grupo El Comercio, the main media group in Peru, and a renowned authority on diverse topics from politics to viticulture.

Formats of MISTURA franchise are: The Fair: On 25,000 m2* with capacity for 125,000 people in 10 days. The Grand Fair: On 50,000 m2* with capacity for 250,000 people in 10 days.
