Welcome to the Lagon The Calendini family has been living in Sénégal since 1930; they are known for their passion for the ocean and adventurous fishing trips. With this foundation, they established the "Complexe du Lagon" located on the Eastern Bay of Dakar. The architectural concept of the restaurant Lagon 1 and the hotel Lagon 2 imitates the magical and unique world of fishing in high seas. The Lagon 1, built in 1956 and renovated in 1994, established itself as one of the inescapable restaurants of Dakar in a frame of excellence. Able to serve up to 70 persons, the "L" restaurant is both elegant and laid back, with its menu transporting you between land and sea. The mesmerizing ocean-view and soothing music puts you in a serene ambiance while enjoying delicious meals. While traditionally international, the menu evolves with the seasons in order to better adapt to our cosmopolitan clientele requirements. For the conservation of local product, we apply responsible fisheries and adapt our menus regularly for the sake of preservation of our aquatic fauna. The staff team effectively manages the service with subtlety, and welcomes its guests with hospitality and kindness.
