Retreat dates : Saturday May 11th - Saturday May 18th 2019 Retreat Pricing : Our goal is to offer you a luxurious yoga/ mindfulness retreat at the most reasonable prices. We have partnered with locals in CostaRica as well as some of the best guides and used our local knowledge of CostaRica, to find the best prices and have passed on those discounts to you! Retreat price includes 6 yoga & mindfulness classes, 7 nights accommodation, all meals, and transportation as specified in our itinerary. Please see our link for daily schedule and itinerary to read more about the fantastic magical journey we have planned for you. - RESERVE YOUR SPACE with a $400 non-refundable deposit before Jan 31st 2019. - Pay the 50% of balance latest by March 11th - Pay the balance 50% latest by April 27th - Pay for the excursions in the itinerary at the retreat center on May 12th
THE THREE TYPES OF ACCOMMODATIONS AVAILABLE AT THE RETREAT CENTER
ROOM RATES FOR THE 7 NIGHTS & 8 DAYS RETREAT Private room with SINGLE Occupancy (double bed) : $1450 USD per person Private room with DOUBLE Occupancy (2 people sharing each room, twin beds for roommates, double beds for couples) : $1200 USD per person TRIPLE Occupancy: $1100 USD per person DORMITORY style rooms (4-6 each room) : $1000 USD per person
IMPORTANT NOTE : - If you would like to bring a friend or partner along who does not do yoga/meditation, they are always welcome to join the retreat. During the hours of morning yoga/evening meditation they can enjoy a walk on the beach, a swim at the pool or just sleep in and join us later for breakfast/dinner. - Total Price for the excursions on the itinerary is : $225 (Chocolate tour/waterfall hike : $80, Cahuita National Park : $50, Jaguar Reserve : $20, Dolphin tour : $75) - WE ARE HAPPY TO ASSIGN YOU A SAME GENDER ROOMMATE IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE RETREAT AS A SINGLE BUT WOULD LIKE TO CHOOSE THE DOUBLE OCCUPANCY OPTION. Cancellation policy: Deposits are nonrefundable. Cancellations of guests more than 15 days prior to trip get a 50% refund. After this no refund granted. NO REFUND for lodging in case of last minute cancellations. Diet restrictions : If you have any diet restrictions (gluten free, vegan, allergies) and/ or would like a specific type of menu (vegetarian, fish, chicken, seafood) please let us know latest by March 31st. Pickup and drop off from SJO airport : Your pick up and drop off from the airport is included in the cost of the retreat if there are 10 total participants. There will only be one pick up and one drop off. Once all flights are booked and we receive this information latest by April 10th, a pick up and drop off time will be decided by the retreat center. Once this time has been decided we will let you know via email. (This time will be decided according to the flight schedules of the participants) If your flights do not match the requirements for pick up and drop off we recommend an overnight in San Jose for the arrival or the departure. Or alternatively you can make individual arrangements for getting to the retreat center. We are happy to help you with these arrangements if you so need. OVERNIGHT IN SAN JOSE If you need an overnight in San Jose we recommend the following 2 hotels: Hotel Airport : www.airporthotelcostarica.com 5 minutes from the airport. They pay one taxi per room arriving from the airport or going to the airport. If you arrive at the international airport take an official taxi to the Hotel and they pay the fee at reception. The special rates for the retreat are: May 2018 October 2019: 84 USD double rooms, 72 USD single room, 96 USD triple rooms You can make your own reservation, just mention that you are attending a retreat at The Goddess Garden. THINGS TO KNOW Wifi is provided in the rooms, it is a low speed internet. You can access it from your own device. The retreat center does not have a computer available for the guests. Local SIM cards with internet access are available at the office. To call home : guests can use the Skype at the office. The cost is 5 USD for 10 minutes. The center does not provide hairdryers (as they are of high energy consumption) The center offers laundry service for 10 USD each load. How to bring money : Bring cash in USD in small bills (no Colones required) 50 and 100 USD bills are not accepted in most places. Don t change money at the airport, the rate is very poor. At The Goddess Garden you can make payments for your personal expenses with Cash, Paypal or ChaseQuick Pay. They do not accept credit or debit cards. This includes massages, alcoholic beverages and most tours. There are ATM machines in Cahuita and Puerto Viejo for Visa and MasterCards where you can get cash in USD and Colones. You can pay Zip- lining and the Sloth Center with credit card if you choose to do these tours on your own.
THINGS TO BRING : Reusable water bottle Sun screen 50 or up Flash light Bug spray Light raincoat or umbrella Flip Flop, T-shirts, shorts, swim suit, sneakers, hat, beach towel or beach mat We offer Yoga props at the Yoga studios. Bring your own Yoga mat if you like. NO vaccination required if you enter from the US or Canada Each participant has to sign a waiver. There is a deposit of 10 USD for your room key. You will get the money back when you turn in your key at departure. Please bring a 10 US Dollar bill for the deposit.
