Practical INFORMATION Riga Dear Participant, Thank you for your interest in the TEN-T Days 2015! Please find below some useful practical information that will help you to plan your trip and organise your stay in Riga. MOBILE APPLICATION Access the TEN-T Days mobile app here. The app will provide you with all of the relevant information for your participation at the event, as well as information about the Exhibition, Gala Dinner, Riga tourist info, maps, etc. ARRIVING IN RIGA TEN-T DAYS WELCOME DESKS will be located at the airport, after the luggage claim area of the Schengen and no Schengen arrival halls and will provide more information on the following services: SHUTTLES will be organized at the airport near the exit. Sunday, 21 June: 18h00, 21h00 & 23h00 Monday, 22 June: 12h15, 13h00, 13h30 & 14h00 The shuttles will serve the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija and the Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel. A return shuttle to the airport will be organized from the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija as follows: Tuesday, 23rd June: 15h00, 15h30, 16h00, 16h30 & 17h30. TAXI SERVICES are available at the airport 24 hours a day and are located outside the arrivals area. The average fare from the airport to the City Centre/Old Town is 15-20 and the journey time is approximately 30 minutes although note that the fare depends on both distance and time. AirBaltic (green) and Riga Cab (red) taxi services are recommended. PUBLIC TRANSPORT BUS NO 22 connects the airport with the City Centre. The bus stop is located behind the P1 car park opposite Arrival E. The service operates weekdays up to every 15 minutes and up to every 20 minutes on the weekend, and normally takes up to 30 minutes to reach the Centre. REGISTRATION Registration will be located in the entrance hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija, on your right side after the hotel reception desk, starting from 8h00, Monday, 22 June. Please do not forget to print and bring your personal barcode with you. In exchange, you will receive your event badge and materials (bag, brochures, programmes, etc.) Your badge will give you access to the conference venues, Gala Dinner and the Egle bar during the entire event. ATTENDANCE FOR SIDE AND CORRIDOR MEETINGS Please note that some of the side and corridor meetings are oversubscribed, thus participation in these meetings rooms is on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, please make sure that you are on time for the meeting that interests you. BACKGROUND DOCUMENTS FOR DOWNLOAD Your event badge also allows you handily download background documents right to your email address via one of the three totems installed in the catering/networking area. Just scan your badge, choose the documents of interest and check your inbox! INDOOR EXHIBITION Make sure to take a break and visit some of the many TEN-T projects and initiatives on display at the indoor Exhibition. The Exhibition Guide in your participant pack provides background information on each stand as well as contact information. OUTDOOR EXHIBITION / TEST DRIVING The outdoor Exhibition highlights different innovative technologies for the road sector, such as electromobility, fuel cells/hydrogen and natural gas. As in previous TEN-T Days, we are also offering the popular opportunity to ride & drive a number of test vehicles around the Esplanade, if you feel up to getting behind the wheel. Don t miss the other half of the Exhibition and join us outside! CARS AVAILABLE FOR DRIVE TESTS Audi, BMW, Daimler, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Volkswagen SCHEDULE 22 June: 08:00 18:30 & 23 June: 08:00 17:30 DURATION 10-20 minutes LUNCH Due to the success of the event and our Exhibitors enormous interest in sharing their projects and innovations with TEN-T Days participants, space is limited so lunch on both days of the event will be served in various locations in the hotel. Your event badge will contain a coloured dot indicating your lunch location. Thanks for your cooperation in respecting this location to ensure that all participants have access to lunch and the event keeps on its strict time schedule.
