From the Airport to Hotels From the Pulkovo-2 Airport you can reach the Moskovskaya metro station by bus? 13. Then by this metro line you go up to the Nevsky Prospect station. From here you can go: 1) on foot (3-5 min.) to the Grand Europe Hotel (1/7 Mikhailovskaya str., e-mail: dos@ghe.spb.ru ); 2) on foot (20-25 min.) or by trolleybus? 5 and buses? 3, 22 to the Astoria Hotel (39 Bolshaya Morskaya str., e-mail: front@astoria.spb.ru); 3) on foot (15 min.) or by any mean of public transport to the Sheraton Nevsky Palace (57 Nevsky pr., e-mail: reservat@sheratonnevskij.ru), or changing for the Gostiny Dvor metro station, it is the line 3, you go one stop up to the Mayakovskaya station and from here it takes 5 minutes on foot to reach the hotel; 4) from the Gostiny Dvor station, go up by the line 3 to the Primorskaya station from which you can reach on foot the Pribaltiyskaya Hotel (14 Korablestroiteley str., e-mail: market@pribalt.spb.ru); 5) from the Gostiny Dvor station taking the line 3 you go up (2 stops) to the Ploshchad Alexandra Nevskogo metro station. Then you change there for the Ploshchad Vosstaniya station. From here you go by trolleybus? 42 or bus? 74 up to the Kievskaya Hotel. It will take some 20-25 minutes but the hotel is located quite near our office. Arrival at Railway Stations A train goes from Helsinki, Finland, to Saint-Petersburg that arrives at the Finlandsky Railway Station. You can go from the Ploshchad Lenina metro station (adjacent to the above-mentioned railway station building) up to the Ploshchad Vosstaniya station, here change for the line 3 at the Mayakovskaya station, it is one stop to the Gostiny Dvor and three to the Primorskaya stations. If you come from Germany and Poland, a train arrives at the Warshavsky Railway Station, located near the Baltiyskaya metro station. From there you can go taking the line 1 up to the Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station, then change for the Mayakovskaya station. A further route is given above. Taxies From the Airport and Railway Stations you can go to the hotel by taxi. The above-mentioned 5-star hotels maintain their own fleets of cabs for their clients but they charge a considerably high fare. We do not recommend using the services of private car owners. Money GENERAL INFORMATION It is against the law to pay in foreign currency on the territory of the Russian Federation. Your money you can exchange for Russian rubles at the airport, railway stations, hotels, in the larger stores or in currency exchange bureaus. Weather It is unstable in Saint-Petersburg: warm and fine weather is often changed to a cloudy one. An average summer temperature is 21 C, max 32 C.
