When you stay at Lake Huron Campground, you will not be at a loss for things to do! Lake Huron Campground offers more non-stop activities and amenities than you are likely to find anywhere else. At those times when no organized activities are scheduled, we still provide you with all the ingredients you need to plan your own pursuits. These include gemstone mining, boat rentals, golf cart rentals, and our arcade game room. Kids love the thrill of discovery in our Gemstone Mining experience, but we frequently find their parents joining in the fun. The water runs down our sluiceway, while you pan for colorful gemstones, minerals and fossils in a realistic mine setting. Bags of mining dirt are included with our multi-night packages. We have paddleboats, canoes, rowboats, and kayaks available for rental and may be used on our 20- acre private lake at your leisure. You must be 18 or older to rent any boat by yourself, or you must have someone down at boat rental area over the age of 18 during entirety of the rental. Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times. In order to avoid disappointment, we strongly suggest that you reserve a golf cart when you make your camping reservation. Up to six people can sleep comfortably on the first floor and 2-3 children can sleep in the loft (stairs no ladder). Sleeping accommodations include a private bedroom with Queen sized bed, closet, chest of drawers and TV. Other beds on the first floor include a set of twin bunks (30 x 72 ) and an extra thick Queen sized futon in the living area with TV. The loft can sleep up to 3-4 people, however there are 2 sleeping pads provided and a TV. Cooking in the kitchenette is easy with a microwave, full size refrigerator, 2-burner glass top stove, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, pots/pans, cooking and eating utensils. Enjoy a meal inside at the table which seats up to 6. Or sit outside and enjoy the lakefront view in the screened patio and use the 6 person picnic table. There is also a picnic table outside the cabin on the main campsite along with a charcoal grill and a fire ring for your campfire. There are 2 Heat / AC units in each cabin. 3rd and 4th Night Cabin Special Rate: 4/26-5/27 or 9/2-10/20 Cabin Guests can add a third night s stay to a 2-night reservation (Friday and Saturday) or a 4th night to a Memorial Day stay for Half Price. Our community of newly updated Rustic Log Cabins is a large group of units (some are lakefront) with Shared Cooking Pavilions and Full Service Restroom / Laundry facilities. Each Cabin can sleep up to 6 people (limit of 4 adults) Whether you will be staying in a deluxe cabin or a rustic log cabin, please bring all bed linens, pillows, blankets, towels and personal items. Other suggested with bedding for 4 and 2 in the loft area (sleeping bags and air mattresses recommended). The private room under the loft has a queen bed. The main room has a TV, one set of twin bunks, table and benches, mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave and heat / ac unit. There is also a picnic table outside the cabin on the main campsite along with a fire ring for your campfire. Some of our rustic log cabins are pet-friendly and some are handicapped accessible. items include outdoor cooking tools, folding chairs and a cooler. Park Map The Forester General Store offers a HUGE inventory of groceries, snacks, camping supplies, fishing gear and bait, cleaning supplies, household items, souvenirs and more! Everything you need is here in the Forester General Store, open 7 days a week, in season. The Campfire Pizza Café is our on-site pizza and ice cream café. Open Fridays through Sundays, in season, you will enjoy an extensive menu that includes pizzas, 12 flavors of Hershey s hand-dipped ice cream, and much more. Orders are available for take-out, with delivery service available for an added fee on non-holiday Friday and Saturday evenings. 6 7
Policies & Helpful Information 2019 Vacation Packages Extra Person / Day Visitor / Overnight Visitor Fees Campsite & Cabin Rates are based on two adults (ages 18 and over) and two unmarried children ages 4-17 (non driving). Extra person fees apply for additional occupants not covered in the site fee. No more than 4 adults and 1 camping unit per site. Maximum site occupancy is 6. Wristbands are included with all overnight camping rates and paid daily admission fees. Children of registered campers and their guests that are under the age of 4 are FREE. All children older than 18 are considered adults and the extra person fee will apply. Seniors (ages 64 and up) for the day are FREE (no wristband included in admission). Seniors overnight are 1/2 price of the adult overnight extra persons fee and includes wristband. These fees include: the use of the swimming pools, swim beach, mini golf, playgrounds, all free daily recreational activities & non fee crafts, live entertainment, jumping pillow, new inflatable water slides and pedal carts.
