Press Conference Monday 06 June 2016 11:30am All players must strictly adhere to the request of the Organisers to attend press conferences, event marketing, publicity and promotional activities as per BWF regulations for Superseries. These activities may be undertaken at various iconic landmark in Sydney. Transportation will be provided by organisers for players to attend these press conferences and activities. Players will be given advance notices and will receive priority for practice requirements. Team Managers Meeting Monday 06 June 2016 5:00pm It is compulsory for all team managers or a member association representative to attend the team managers briefing session. Umpires Meeting Monday 06 June 2016 6:00pm All umpires are to attend this briefing session. For international teams, any additional or replacement passes for officials accompanying the team can purchase a limited number for AUD$150 each pass. Visitors attending the event in a non-official capacity is required to purchase tickets for the required sessions. Please visit tournament website for ticket purchasing details. Superseries Regulations: The Regulations for Superseries and General Competition Regulations Regulations: of BWF shall be applicable to the Championship. The General Competition Regulations will apply except where specific provisions are contained in the Regulations for Superseries. Where there is any conflict or apparent conflict, the Superseries Regulation(s) shall take precedence. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Tournament Referee will be final. Clothing and Advertising: Clothing and advertising must follow BWF General Competition Regulations 19-23. On Court Doctor & Physiotherapist: Drug Testing: On-court doctors and physiotherapists will be on duty throughout the competition at the tournament venue. Under the Superseries regulations, drug testing of players competing in the tournament will be performed. Practice Sessions: Note: The above meeting times and location are tentative and subject to change. Team managers and players will receive updated information prior to arriving or on arrival in Sydney. 5 competition courts and 4 warm up courts will be set up in the stadium. There is also another 12 practice courts set up in an adjacent practice hall. The two halls are adjacent to each other and both are less than 10 min walk from the official hotels. Request for practice schedule can be arranged at the liaison desk upon arrival. Insurance/Medical: Visa: Please ensure your players and team officials are covered with the necessary insurance policy to meet current requirements. The organiser will not be responsible for any injury sustained, at any time, by any player or official arising from his/her participation at the tournament. Any costs incurred for medical treatment and/or hospitalisation shall be borne by the Member Association of the player/official concerned. If visa is required for participants to enter Australia for the event, please complete the attached visa request form. 4 5
