It was caused by too much haste of the man adjusting timbers opposite to him on the frame, throwing out the one on which he was standing and letting him down, the same falling upon him, injuring his left arm and back so as to disable him from work a number of days. October 5, 1911, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin Popular Evansville Couple Married Beautiful Home Wedding of Herbert Durner and Bessie Fellows The marriage of Miss Bessie Fellows, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fellows to Herbert Durner was solemnized Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 16, at three o'clock, at the bride's parental home. The service was read by Rev. Clark A. Wilson of Baraboo, formerly rector of St. John's parish. The bride was gowned in white crepe de chine and princess lace over white silk and carried a bride's bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. Mrs. Grant Howard, who was matron of honor wore pink messaline veiled with white marquisette. She carried pink carnations. Forrest Durner, brother of the groom, acted as best man. Just before the service Miss Barbara Pearsall sang "It is not because your heart is mine." Miss Cleve Gillman and Miss Beth Baker accompanied her with the piano and violin. After the congratulations and good wishes the wedding dinner was served to about eighty-five guests. The home was very beautifully decorated, each room having a distinctive color scheme, but blending together in a most harmonious manner. Mr. and Mrs. Durner motored to Madison from where they will leave today for St. Paul on a short wedding trip. They will be at home after Nov. 1, in Evansville.
